While not as physically strong as her son, Mothra can lift a weight of up to 20,000 metric tons.
Mothra possesses a wasp-like stinger at the end of her abdomen that is powerful enough to punch a hole through Rodan's chest. While not lethal, this blow from Mothra's stinger was sufficient to immobilize and incapacitate Rodan for the remainder of her and Godzilla's battle against King Ghidorah.
Mothra in this era, most notably the first individual appeared in the 1961 film is the largest incarnation of all, being 180 meters in length with a wingspan of 250 meters and weighed 20,000 tonnes as an Imago, and 135 meters in body length and weighed 15,000 tonnes as a larva.
Armor Mothra's carapace is incredibly strong, allowing him to shrug off the same attacks from King Ghidorah that devastated his Rainbow form. Armor Wing Cutter: His razor-sharp wings were able to remove one of King Ghidorah's wings with two slices.
Battra. Essentially Mothra's counterpart, Battra only appeared in 1992's Godzilla vs. Mothra yet still made an impact on the franchise. It is an intimidating creature with a phenomenal, fearsome design (both in terms of its larvae stage and final stage).
Mothra : mothra is by far the weakest of the six main titans in the monsterverse. Not that she's weak but she doesn't really compare to the others .
After Godzilla killed Mothra, two of her offspring encased him in silk at the end of Mothra vs. Godzilla. Mothra won in Godzilla vs. Mothra as well, but only because of an alliance she made with Battra.
Speed. Light Speed Mothra can fly at a speed of 186,000 miles per second.
During the final battle in Boston, she duels Rodan while Godzilla faces off with King Ghidorah. While it appears as if Rodan outmatches her, Mothra emerges victorious by stabbing him in the chest with her stinger.
When it comes to Mothra, the creature is at least 10,000 years old, and in all that time, has found reference in multiple human cultures as an object of worship. The reboot places Mothra in the realm of actual monsters, instead of her more mystical origins from her original movies.
She is a Divine Moth Kaiju and is married to Rodan. The love triangle between her, Rodan, and King Ghidorah, as well as her relationship with Ghidorah as a whole set off the show's story.
Meet Titanus Mosura, or as we like to call her... Mothra. Mothra (モスラ, Mosura?), also dubbed Titanus Mosura, is a giant lepidopteran daikaiju created by Legendary Pictures that first appeared in the 2019 film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Mothra's goal is not only to save Earth from invasive space threats, but is also to protect life on planet. Her healing powers can help other Titans in recovering and gaining strength, and her ability to reincarnate makes her nearly immortal.
Mothra, still wounded from her previous battle with Destoroyah, attempts to fight Battra off, but is easily beaten by her dark counterpart.
Battra then returns the favor coming to Mothra's defense. Regrouping, the two moths decide to join forces against Godzilla, determining him to be the greater threat to the planet. Eventually, Mothra and Battra overwhelm Godzilla and carry it over the ocean.
In her larval form, Mothra has the ability to spit a stream of silk from her mouth. Though the First Generation Mothra did not ever use this silk offensively, subsequent incarnations of the character have. In her debut film, Mothra uses this silk to create a cocoon on the Tokyo Tower.
Intelligence. Perhaps this Mothra's greatest asset is her intelligence. Mothra can communicate with humans through her Shobijin, and can also communicate directly with other kaiju. Mothra is able to convince Godzilla and Rodan, both previously threats to humanity, to join forces with her and fend off King Ghidorah.
The largest and strongest of the Kaiju, Slattern is unrivaled by any of its brethren in battle. The creature's high toxicity levels and intelligence makes it the most lethal Kaiju the Pan Pacific Defense Corps has ever faced.
Despite being in the same Toho film era, these two monsters never met. While Godzilla generally beats Mothra in a fair fight, Mothra Leo has many abilities that his predecessor lacks, especially as his film trilogy progresses.
Deaths are repeated several times throughout Toho's movies, but Mothra never truly dies, which is one of the reasons why she is so special in both MonsterVerse and Toho's other movies. Despite her iconic status, Godzilla never truly dies, despite the fact that her life cycle is a unique experience for her.
Supersonic Flight - Mothra can fly anywhere from mach 1 to 5 and usually flies around mach 3. Mothra can create powerful wind gusts using her wings.
History. Mothra is a descendant of the Kaiju of Earth, Gigamoth, along with her brother Battra. Having hatched from same egg, both siblings carried a strong bond between each other and acted as the respected guardians, Mothra being the Guardian of Mortals, and Battra as the Guardian of Terra.
Godzilla and Ghidorah were plenty destructive in their battle to be recognized as the King of the Monsters. But Mothra is the undisputed Queen. The giant moth-like monster first appeared in the 1961 Toho film “Mothra” and is among the most popular kaiju in the “Godzilla” franchise.
Superman can lift 2 billion tons and Godzilla weighs 90,000 tons. So yes Superman can carry Godzilla.
