This beauty ideal became de rigueur in the industry; the average runway model has a body mass index (BMI) of 16, which the World Health Organization classifies as severely thin.
Example: If a person weighs 68 kg and is 165 cm (1.65 m) tall, BMI is calculated as 68 ÷ (1.65)2 = 24.98 kg/m2, which means that the person has a BMI of 24.98 and is considered to be a healthy weight.
Her body type is a refreshing shift from the brand's infamously long-limbed and shockingly slender Angels. That said, Palvin isn't that far from the brand's historically narrow beauty standards: Sources say she's a size 2 or 4 and weighs about 120 pounds and is 5'9".
