The explosive energy from starbirth in and around the nebula bombards the dusty clouds of cool gas producing the intense starlight seen from Earth. The light that reaches Earth is 5,000 years old.
Starlight is the first female Supe to hold any position of authority in any Supe team when Stan Edgar appointed her co-leader of The Seven. Annie is 23 years old during Season 1, this makes her birth year either 1996 or 1997.
The Deep is very fond of receiving unreciprocated oral sex, even preferring it to coitus. Perhaps his self-consciousness regarding his gills has guided this preference. He blackmails Starlight into performing oral sex on him, and his complaint about his wife is that she "gives terrible blow jobs."
Erin Moriarty (Starlight) 5'6"
Erin Moriarty's Starlight stands at 5'6", and was the shortest member of The Seven until Stormfront came along, though it might have been hard to tell between her platform boots and her big hair.
As Starlight, she is a member of the Seven, a group of superheroes funded by Vought-American (Vought International in the television franchise), and the love interest of Hughie Campbell. Annie is a former member of the Young Americans group with the ability of flight and light manipulation.
So in order to save not just the lives of the people she loves, but the entire world, she sucks it up and goes further down the rabbit hole, “revealing” a secret relationship with Homelander in the American Hero finale in order to rehabilitate his image, and taking it one step further by kissing him.
She is quickly rattled after finding that her membership to The Seven comes at a high price—sexual activity with the male members. Similarly to the show, Starlight is coerced into performing oral sex on Homelander, Black Noir, and A-Train.
Shortly after joining The Seven, Starlight enters into a relationship with Hughie Campbell, although neither are aware of the other's real profession.
Another surgery that the Driven actress is widely speculated to have had is buccal fat removal. In this, fat pads are removed from the hollows of the cheeks so that the facial structure becomes more prominent. Again, this was something that many people noticed in the later seasons of the show.
Now that The Boys season 3 gave Starlight her flying abilities, she is only missing one power from the source material: super hearing. Light projection and flight are the main powers that Starlight uses in the comics, as her super hearing is only sparingly used.
To ensure her warning is seriously understood, Neuman squeezes Starlight's brain just enough to give her a nosebleed, but backs off before causing any proper damage. It's her way of threatening Starlight into silence.
In the show's pilot episode, it's revealed that The Deep attempted to sexually assault Starlight. The polarizing scene was even more extreme and appalling in the comics, as Homelander, Black Noir, and A-Train are collectively involved, asking her what lengths she would go to in order to join The Seven.
Longevity: Black Noir has been active since the 80s. He is older than Gunpowder and is likely somewhere around his 50s or 60s, however he shows no signs that his age has affected his physical condition and he even appears to be even stronger then he was forty years prior.
While Starlight's original powers were already enough for Annie to defeat A-Train in a fight, Starlight was behind characters like Maeve, Soldier Boy, and Homelander in terms of sheer strength. In other words, Starlight's blasts of light would not be of much help against Homelander.
It's implied that she was drunk; we see her speaking a bit slowly, flirting with a random guy and then there's this shot of many empty glasses on her table. Shortly after this scene she excuses herself to the toilet and starts puking. It's a common depiction in TV / movies that means the character drank too much.
Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight in season 3 of The Boys, has been linked to weight loss speculation. Fans believe she has undergone surgery on her face, probably liposuction, to lose her weight as she looks way too skinny now.
Starlight's main weakness is that her energy powers are dependent on there being an electrical source nearby that she can tap.
But that's not all: Erin is said to have had buccal fat removal, which entails removing fat from the cheeks in order to tone the face structure. Many people noted this throughout The Boys' latter seasons.
Starlight and Homelander are certainly enemies throughout most of The Boys comics. However, Starlight does not die in the comics when the story finally comes to a close. She is fully prepared to die trying to defeat Homelander, but Queen Maeve actually saves her from his wrath.
She has always been under pressure to abide by their protocols, and becoming a victim of sexual assault at the hands of The Deep (Chace Crawford) was just the start of a long list of instances in which she would be mistreated. But this wasn't the start of it all.
"I think Starlight would consider Homelander kissing her a nightmare, but she's used to being surprised at Vought," she added. "She has this moment of being stunned, and then quickly decides two can play at this game. She's determined to meet this challenge he has set for her."
Queen Maeve
Maeve has an Amazonian look and super strength—it's clear that her parallel is Wonder Woman.
In both the comic and TV series, Noir is a member of the hedonistic and reckless Vought-American superhero group the Seven and is depicted as a "silent ninja" type parody of Batman, Snake Eyes and Deathstroke.
Trivia. Unlike the other members of The Seven, Translucent is likely not a parody of a specific character, but rather of superheroes with invisibility superpowers in general, such as Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman from Marvel's Fantastic Four.
