we know that Henry was 12 years old when he massacre his family at the creel house in 1959. by the time eleven is born. he would be 24 years old. which would make him approximately the same age as eleven's mother Terry.
*1947: Henry Creel is born shortly after his father, Victor, returned from fighting in World War II. We know from newspaper articles that Nancy and Robin found that Henry Creel was 12 years old when he killed his mother and sister, framing his dad for the gruesome murders in 1959.
As a child, Henry Creel was described by his father as a "sensitive boy” who didn't fit in with other children. He was born with supernatural powers, and when he spotted a nest of Black Widows he found comfort.
As D&D lore goes, Vecna was born over a hundred thousand years ago in the Greyhawk world of Oerth, the son of a hedge witch who was exiled for practising necromancy. Over time, he learned that and other kinds of dark magic for himself.
While intending to get his revenge on Eleven and Brenner, Vecna also goes after victims who have dealt with traumatizing experiences in the past (reminiscent of his childhood and his time at the Hawkins lab).
Remember also that we have evidence that powers can be inherited -- El inherited her powers from Terri Ives, for example. So it stands to reason that Henry inherited his powers from one of his parents.
Realizing he had tremendous psychic power, he haunted his family with visions before ultimately killing most of them. His father was framed for the murders and locked away in a mental hospital as a disturbed serial killer. Henry then found himself in the care of Brenner, who decided he wanted more kids like the boy.
In episode 7, Vecna is revealed to be Henry Creel (played as a youngster by Raphael Luce), the son of Victor Creel (Robert Englund) and his wife Virginia (Tyner Rushing) shown in the 1950s flashbacks.
Next up, the viewers go on to theorise that One/Vecna is actually Eleven's dad. Yep, told you it was wild. The theory claims that Brenner wanted to create a child with stronger powers, so he waited until One was old enough to become a father.
So they bought a beautiful home, which we now know as the Creel House, in Hawkins for themselves and their two children Alice and Henry.

According to Henry Creel, he was brought to Dr. Brenner when his mother caught on to his mysterious psychic powers.
We know Eleven was born in 1971, which means her mom got pregnant with her during the tests, sometime in 1970. A 1959 flashback in the mid-season 4 finale reveals a 12-year-old One (Jamie Campbell Bower). That puts One, a.k.a. Vecna, as 24 when Eleven was born.
Vecna's burned, corpse-like look draws heavy inspiration from the iconic “Nightmare on Elm Street” slasher Freddy Kruger, with the films in general serving as a lodestar for the season.
His first victim was Chrissy Cunningham. Vecna targeted Chrissy by using her depression and eating disorder against her in his visions. Chrissy was killed in Eddie Munson's trailer, and the first gate was opened on the ceiling.
Played by Jamie Campbell Bower, each prosthetic was glued to his skin with medical adhesive by prosthetics designer Barrie Gower and his team. For the finishing touch, Vecna was covered in "glossy slime to make him really, really glossy and wet looking," according to Gower.
Joe Manganiello's character Arkhan fought against Vecna with the adventuring party Vox Machina in the web series Critical Role. He then stole the Hand of Vecna and replaced his own hand with the artifact.
Virginia Creel, portrayed by Tyner Rushing, was a recurring character in the fourth season of Stranger Things. She was the wife of Victor Creel and the mother of Alice Creel and Henry Creel.
He started pushing his powers by killing small animals and infecting the minds of his family with traumatic memories and horrific visions. After killing his family and framing his father, Henry was taken for study at the Hawkins Lab.
The theory suggests that Henry Creel was less interested in punishing his “father,” Victor Creel, as he was in torturing his mother (Tyner Rushing) for the “awful thing” she had done.
"Vecna seems to be actually intrigued by Nancy being able to figure him out, to be able to get this close to the truth... I think this is more Vecna's narcissistic traits that pull him to Nancy, why he wants to give her this information."
Vecna's obsession with time appears to be linked to his hatred of humanity. He views time as a human imposition on the natural world; an attempt to impose order on nature.
In simple words, Vecna needs a total of four gates to take over Hawkins and rule it. Now, you must be thinking, why is Vecna killing people if he can take over the complete Hawkins? Well, in one of the previous episodes, it was revealed that with each person Vecna kills, he creates an opening to the real world.
