According to dermatologists, you should exfoliate first, then wash your hair, and then wash your body. This will ensure that each shower product you use has time to work. If you have concerns about your skin, you should follow this order as closely as you can.
Many doctors say a daily shower is fine for most people. (More than that could start to cause skin problems.) But for many people, two to three times a week is enough and may be even better to maintain good health.

"Showering for less than five minutes may not be long enough to cleanse your body, and can cause bacterial or fungal infections," she added.

Healthy bathing tips
Opt for lukewarm, rather than piping hot, water if you're showering on a daily basis. A gentle soap is the best choice regardless of bathing frequency, but it's especially important for folks who shower every day.
Hot showers can even help reduce stress and anxiety because the heat can stimulate the brain's release of a hormone called oxytocin, which is known to be correlated to anti-stress effects, or relaxation [1].
