The WhatsApp data recovery benefits are currently available to Android device users. Users can recover WhatsApp chat without backup with zero data loss or limitations to the type of data they can restore. In other words, you can get back deleted messages from chats with some clicks, including the deleted media files.
Verify that an iCloud backup exists in WhatsApp > Settings > Chats > Chat Backup. If you can see when the last backup was performed, delete and reinstall WhatsApp. After verifying your phone number, follow the prompts to restore your chat history.
WhatsApp conversations aren't stored on WhatsApp's servers, so it's not possible to restore them directly from the app itself. The good news is that your iPhone has likely already saved your WhatsApp chats in an iTunes or iCloud backup -- and you can extract the messages you had stored on your iPhone or iPad.
If you backup your chats daily then you can simply uninstall and then reinstall WhatsApp and select restore. By doing so everything from the latest backup will be restored. However, you need to use the same phone number and Google Account used to create the backup. After the restoration process is complete, tap NEXT.
Retrieve a deleted message or conversation
In Messages, tap Edit. Tap Show Recently Deleted . Choose the conversations with the messages you want to restore, then tap Recover.
When you delete a message on WhatsApp, it disappears. However, it isn't gone forever. Your messages get stored in the cloud (Google Drive or iCloud). They also get stored on your device.
Make Sure You are Using the Correct Phone Number and Apple ID. iCloud WhatsApp backups are tied to individual numbers. If you try to restore WhatsApp chats from one number to another, it will not work out. You must use the same phone number and Apple ID to restore the chats.
Messages deleted from a group chat will be replaced with this text. Therefore all users in the conversation will see that a message has been deleted, but they will not be able to read what it said. The time the message was originally sent will also still be present by the message.

Although deleting WhatsApp messages and chats using the two steps above will delete your messages, they can still be recovered through a recovery tool. If you do not want this to happen, then you need to delete your messages and chat permanently. The only powerful way to do that is by using iMyFone iPhone data eraser.

According to Google Support, you can restore texts, calls, device settings, contacts, calendars, photos and videos by opening the Google Drive app, tapping “Menu” then “Backups” and then restoring the backup version you're looking for.

In order to retrieve deleted WhatsApp messages, you must have enabled Chat Backup in the app's settings. To reach this, tap the Settings tab. It's on the bottom bar of the iPhone app; on Android, open the three-dot menu at the top-right and choose Settings. From there, head to Chats > Chat backup.
Deleted WhatsApp messages are stored for 30 days. You can decide to restore Deleted WhatsApp messages back before that duration ends. The app will automatically delete them from the 'Recently deleted' folder when 30 days elapses. However, you can still recover the permanently deleted message using third-party tools.
Stop texting
“When the messages are deleted, they are not really erased at once, but the space where they are stored is marked as free to restore new data,” Scott explains.
However, just because you erase texts on Apple and Android products doesn't mean they're gone for good, according to an expert on the Apple Support Community and Business Insider. They will be hidden, but they may still be saved in system data or elsewhere with your cellphone carrier.
The Android operating system stores text messages in the phone's memory, so if they're deleted, there's no way to retrieve them. You can, however, install a text message backup application from the Android market that allows you to restore any deleted text messages.
You can retrieve deleted text messages on your iPhone by restoring them using an iCloud backup. You can also use iTunes or Finder to recover your iPhone's texts if you saved backups to your computer. If all else fails, reach out to your mobile carrier — they may restore deleted messages for you.
Recover deleted texts using an iCloud backup
If you have an iCloud backup from before the time when you deleted the text, you should be able to get it back by restoring your phone to that iCloud backup. Open Settings, tap on your Apple ID card at the top, select iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups.
