The A2 size print measures 42.0 x 59.4cm, 16.53 x 23.39 inches, if mounted 59.4 x 76.6cm, 23.39 x 30.16 inches. The A3 size print measures 29.7 x 42.0cm, 11.69 x 16.53 inches, if mounted 40.6 x 50.8cm, 15.98 x 20 inches.
The most common paper size used in English speaking countries around the world is A4, which is 210mm × 297mm (8.27 inches × 11.7 inches). The largest sheet from the A series is the A0 size of paper. It has an area of 1m2, and the dimensions are 841mm × 1189mm.
Standard Paper Sizes
Size A4 has its shortest edge (210mm) doubled to be the longest edge of A3 (420mm). A3 has its shortest edge (297mm) doubled to be the longest edge of A2 (594mm). And similarly up to A0.

A3 is bigger than A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9 and A10 but half the size of A2.
On most printers you can manually scale an A1 design to print on A3 by changing the zoom setting to 50%.
A2 Size Paper: Size, Dimensions, and Uses
This is the biggest A Paper format and is measured twice as A3. Because this paper is used for architectural drawings, diagrams and medium-sized posters, the printer used here is very expensive. It is part of a range of page sizes called ISO 216 standard.
Well if you are going up by 1 size from A4 to A3 (The lower the number the larger the sheet) you double the size of the shortest edge. So for instance an A4 sheet measures 210mm x 297mm making its shortest edge 210mm long. An A3 sheet measures 420mm x 297mm.

An A2 piece of paper measures 420 × 594 mm or 16.5 × 23.4 inches. Cutting it in half will create two A3 sheets of paper.
Every 'A' size is double the previous size: A3 is twice the size of A4, and so forth. Remember that A8 is very small (about 2in x 3in) and A0 is big (nearly 3ft x 4ft).
