Ajax is a character we see more of in
Sirens in Wednesday are the outcasts who have a special quality of living both on land and in water. They have mermaid-like characteristics when in water. Also the most powerful among the outcasts, they are widely mistrusted and other species keep a distance from them. The idea has its roots in Greek mythology.
Medusa and her sisters aren't the only snake-haired creatures in the Wednesday–universe. Ajax is a gorgon and wears a hat so he doesn't turn any unsuspecting people to stone. Unfortunately, he's also able to turn himself into stone, as he accidentally ruins a date with Enid by looking into the mirror.
Ajax, a gorgon, falls into the last category. Not only does this supernatural species have the ability to turn people to stone, but they also enjoy being stoned, if you catch our drift.
Before Wednesday begins torturing Tyler, Ajax leaves with the rest of the Nightshades and goes to inform Larissa Weems of what is happening. Later on, Bianca apologizes to Wednesday on behalf of Ajax and the others for getting her expelled, saying that it wasn't her intention to do so.
Enid organizes a date with Ajax, but he gets caught up. If you were wondering what the stoners' clique was all about, Ajax reveals himself to be a gorgon, with Medusa-like qualities, and he is frozen in time by his own reflection.
One of Wednesday's psychic visions reveals that Tyler is the monster, and he later confesses that his feelings for Wednesday were never real as he was compelled by his master — Marilyn Thornhill a.k.a. Laurel Gates (Christina Ricci) — to get close to her.
Laurel Gates, known by her alias Marilyn Thornhill, is the main antagonist of the first season of the 2022 Netflix TV show Wednesday. She and her family were the descendants of early 17th-century Pilgrims and Jericho founder Joseph Crackstone and were born into great wealth.
Ajax starts off as a friend of Enid and ends up romantically involved with her.
Like the majority of the students, Ajax Petropolus is supposed to be around 16. Georgie Farmer is 20.
As a Hyde, Tyler is one of the physically strongest and most intimidating creatures in Wednesday, easily killing normies and other powerful outcasts like Dr. Kinbott and Rowan, respectively.
We know for a fact Tyler is not the type of evil he's been painted as being, which raises the issue of whether Wednesday season 2 will allow for his redemption. On one hand, Tyler may be saved if he manages to overcome what has been done to him and is shown to be a better person than we thought during the first season.
"The Seirenes (Sirens). They were the daughters of Akhelous (Achelous) and the Mousa (Muse) Melpomene, and their names were Peisinoe, Aglaope, and Thelxiepeia." Apollonius Rhodius, Argonautica 4.
Enid Sinclair is the daughter of Esther and her husband, Murray. Esther is very critical of Enid. This is shown when she starts to nitpick at her daughter's appearance, such as, "Have you not been waxing?" and calls her daughter's lack of transformation "Well, that is a disappointment."
Ryan Ellsworth plays Murray Sinclair, Enid Sinclair's father, in the Netflix show Wednesday.
Murray Sinclair is a werewolf who is the father of Enid Sinclair and the husband of Esther Sinclair. He is part of the pack from San Francisco. He appears in the Netflix show Wednesday.
The monster is Tyler (Hunter Doohan). After Wednesday kisses Tyler, she has a bloody vision of him standing over her therapist, Dr. Kinbott (Riki Lindhome) as the Hyde. She also later finds out his mother was a student at Nevermore and was also a Hyde.
Kinbott is killed by the Hyde and Tyler is revealed to be the Monster, Wednesday learns that Marilyn Thornhill, a botany teacher at Nevermore (who is played by Christina Ricci, who also played Wednesday in 1991's The Addams Family movie), is the Monster's master.
In season 1, episode 7 of Wednesday, "If You Don't Woe Me By Now," fans learn that Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), is the Hyde monster. While Wednesday is one of the best horror TV characters, Tyler is great too, as he takes an interest in her and seems to understand her in a way that no one else does.
I think so. Sheriff Galpin knows the truth about his son, and it's his worst fear come true: That he's just like his mom.
A regular at the coffee shop he worked at, Laurel Gates revealed to him his Hyde nature as a way to control and unlock his Hyde powers. At the last episode of the season, however, Tyler reveals that he actually acquired control over his Hyde and serves Laurel voluntarily. He was portrayed by Hunter Doohan.
In one of the wise decisions concerning the love triangle, Wednesday does not end up with either guy. Enid is her best friend—they might hang out over break, and now she can focus on trying to solve another mystery. That's the happy ending I wanted.
