Thomas J. "Tom" Hanniger is the main antagonist of the 2009 remake of the 1981 slasher film My Bloody Valentine. After being nearly killed by Harry Warden, Tom develops some serious mental problems that makes him dress in mining gear and kill people.
Tom in the original was the not serial killer dressed in the miner outfit and mask however in the 2009 remake he is. His motivation in the remake: Simple: Psychotic Breakdown from former confrontation with Harry Warden and inability to cope with the loss of fomer girlfriend.
In addition to its mine setting, My Bloody Valentine distinguishes itself with a twist ending (MY BLOODY SPOILER!): the bad guy who murdered everybody the first time around is actually dead, and our hero really is a delusional schizophrenic who has convinced himself he's not the murderer.
On Valentine's Day 1997, six miners are trapped underground by an explosion at the Hanniger mine in the small mining community of Harmony. By the time rescuers reach the miners, they find only comatose Harry Warden still alive.
The Miner is the main antagonist of the 1981 slasher film My Bloody Valentine, and its 2009 remake of the same name.
Movie Review
He wound up in a coma, but he did survive. And when he awoke months later, he immediately went on another killing spree, butchering half the hospital and painting hearts with the blood. How thoughtful of him to remember that it was Valentine's Day.
Dorothy, having framed Jeremy for assault, was framed by Adam as the killer, pushing her dressed in his outfit into Kate and shooting her dead, making him look like the hero. Jeremy's quest and desire for revenge have both succeeded.
In the end, he shares the truth with her. It is a bittersweet ending, with a balding Tom, due to chemotherapy, sitting in a wheelchair on the porch, surrounded by family and friends, watching his daughter Phoebe, learn to ride her bike, with Michael being the one to give her the push.
It's Valentine's Day, and that means a whole lot of horror fans are going to be watching both the 1981 classic My Bloody Valentine (watch it HERE) and its 2009 remake My Bloody Valentine 3D (watch that one HERE)… and mourning the fact that neither of those excellent slasher movies ever got a sequel.
Immortality: After becoming a revenant zombie in Harry Lives, Harry has become functionally immortal, which means he does not age and physical injuries or illness that would have killed a normal human would eventually heal and won't truly affect him.
Depending on the situation and location, Harry Warden would definitely have an upper-hand over the Boogeyman. His mining gear has more protection than Michael's jumpsuit and his pickaxe has greater reach.
It was stated Harry Warden was in a coma for a year. When he wakes up; he gets up and walks normal. It's very unlikely he could get up being he was in that state for so long. He would of been suffering from muscle disuse and he wouldn't be able to stand let alone walk.
To cut a long story short, the serial killer location you're looking for is Lucky's Cabin to the southwest of Valentine - you'll see it marked in pencil on the map if you take the southwestern road out of town, and before long, it'll get marked as a Stranger Mission called “American Dreams”.
What Makes Him Close To Being Pure Evil? As President, he set up the Steel Ball Run as a ploy to try and find all eight pieces of the saints corpse in order to make America better at the cost of other countries. On top of this, the Steel Ball Run caused many people to get injured and possibly killed.
But then the tragedy struck when John was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. His health kept going down, and nothing ever happened. Then the remake happened, and any talk of a sequel stopped. Then there was no chance of it ever being made.”
She opts for an abortion but changes her mind during the procedure. Dean then comforts and reassures her that they can raise the child together. Cindy and Dean soon get married. Five years later, the couple lives in rural Pennsylvania with their daughter, Frankie, and family dog, Megan.
At the end of the film Shirley realises that she has not fallen in love with Costas, but has done something more important. She has fallen in love with life once again. The ending of the film, when Joe goes out to Greece to join her, suggests that they may be reconciled and that their marriage may be rekindled.

In the last five minutes of Valentine, we learn that Dorothy is the Cupid Killer—or at least we think so until the last few seconds when Adam's nosebleed reveals him to be the true killer.

Conway, who performed under the pseudonym Dave Stelfox, suggested a number of potential band names, including the Burning Peacocks, before the trio settled on My Bloody Valentine. Shields has since claimed he was unaware that My Bloody Valentine was the title of a 1981 Canadian slasher film when the name was suggested.
The classic slasher film “My Bloody Valentine” was filmed in Sydney Mines 42 years ago, with the former mining town — and the Princess Colliery Mine — playing key roles as the fictional Valentine Bluffs where the lone survivor of a methane gas explosion goes on a murderous rampage.
Released in time for Valentine's Day 1981, My Bloody Valentine is a Canadian slasher movie directed by George Mihalka and shot on location in Sydney Mines, N.S. In the film, residents of Valentine Bluffs — in reality Sydney Mines — attend a Valentine's Day dance and are terrorized by a killer in a gas mask.
