It is revealed that Kasady is alive (although both of his legs have been severed), his body preserved by the symbiote and repaired by Hall's prosthetics. Kasady reclaims the symbiote and becomes Carnage once more, attempting to avenge his captivity while Spider-Man and Iron Man struggle to stop him.
Carnage was once a serial killer known as Cletus Kasady, and became Carnage after merging with the offspring of the alien symbiote called Venom during a prison breakout.
The Carnage symbiote appears in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, voiced by Woody Harrelson. This version was created when Cletus Kasady bit Eddie Brock's hand and absorbed part of the Venom symbiote. After saving Kasady, Carnage forms an alliance with him to kill Brock and Venom.
However, Carnage reveals in this first issue that he and Cletus were bonded for so long and were such as perfect match that he no longer needs anyone else. Furthermore, Cletus' still exists as a codex of memories within the symbiote hivemind.
As it is bonded to Cletus Kasady's bloodstream, it is almost impossible to forcibly separate them and it can regenerate even if seemingly destroyed.
A symbiote is only as strong as the bond that it shares with its host. With that in mind, Venom is the clear winner, having formed a number of strong bonds since making its debut back in issue 252 of The Amazing Spider-Man.
Cletus was enraged upon learning that Eddie's exposé had gotten him sentenced for execution and Eddie was his first target after he bonded with Carnage. Eddie was also remorseful for the way he hurt Cletus, as he apologized to him in the climax for disregarding his inner pain.
The reason for this is that Carnage is a "red one," as Venom states, which is apparently quite concerning. Venom refuses to emerge from Eddie's body again, clearly scared of his vermilion enemy.
The black suit alien symbiote that had been bonded to Spider-Man was by that point forcibly rejected by him. Combining with the nearby Brock, the symbiote shared his hatred for Spider-Man, as well as mentally sharing with Brock its former host's secret identity of Peter Parker.
In nearly every iteration of Carnage's character, he is the offspring of Venom. The Klyntar, the race of aliens that the symbiotes belong to, reproduce asexually and can transmit their offspring to other hosts.
Venom devours Carnage and kills Kasady while the collapsing cathedral crushes Barrison. Later, an alive Mulligan's eyes flash blue, revealing that he somehow absorbed a part of Carnage.
During the last interview with Brock, Kasady started mocking the reporter by wishing him a heartbreak for uncovering his secrets. Venom wasn't satisfied with his actions and attacked the prisoner, which resulted in Cletus bitting Eddie's hand. Right after the bite, Carnage was born and bonded with its host.
The main reason was because the Carnage symbiote was not a perfect match with Cletus like Venom was with Eddie.
The original Carnage symbiote was the first offspring of the Venom symbiote, spawned when it broke Eddie Brock out of prison. The newborn symbiote bonded to serial killer Cletus Kasady, merging with his blood to become nigh-inseparable from him, and Carnage was born.
Dylan Brock is the son of Eddie Brock and Anne Weying. When Anne bonded to the Venom symbiote, she somehow became pregnant with Dylan. He was created by the symbiotes in order to destroy their god Knull and sever him from the hive-mind.
Eddie Brock. David Michelinie would later write the backstory of Eddie Brock as the alien's new host that would become the villain Venom, using the events of Peter David's 1985 "Sin Eater" storyline in The Spectacular Spider-Man as a basis for Brock's origin.
During a fight with Spider-Man and Venom, Carnage took a baby from its mother's arms and threw it out of a window.
To make matters even worse, she's just as twisted as Cletus and even more unpredictable. The only constant between her and Kasady is their love for one another. But that love isn't enough to keep Carnage from calling the shots between her and Cletus. As a symbiote, Carnage is weakened by sonic vibrations and fire.
As the fight with Venom reached the bell tower, Venom manages to rescue Anne in time and provokes Shriek to use her powers again; her sonic blast causes both symbiotes to separate from their hosts, but then Shriek falls to her death below as her scream dislodged the bell and crushes her.
Pieces of the symbiote were on him, but he didn't fully transform or try to defend himself. Venom simply pulled the symbiote off of him and ate it, becoming stronger.
Blue Symbiote (2) (Agony): In the comics Agony was one of the symbiotes forcibly spawned from Venom alongside several others by the Life Foundation.
Extreme heat or flame also causes the symbiote intense pain. Even if it isn't directly touched by flame, the fear of fire is often enough to drive the symbiote mad and render Venom ineffective in battle.
Venom : I will only take that because we are hurting right now. Don't worry buddy, I will get you through this! Cletus Kasady : [as Venom holds him by the neck] I'm a killer with or without the monster Eddie.
The spawn of the Venom symbiote then attached itself to Kasady through his bloodstream. Carnage achieves this by entering Kasady's body through a cut on his hand. This is the reason why Carnage appears as the colour red, as he entered through the bloodstream, which is of course red.
