based on the biblical mandate to be fruitful and multiply, and in keeping with this reasoning the church discouraged birth control and encouraged married couples to produce as many children as is compatible with the physical, spiritual, and mental well being of the mother and children".
First, God commanded his people to "Be fruitful and multiply," and contraception is seen as specifically flouting this instruction. Second, Onan was killed by God for "spilling his seed," which is often taken as divine condemnation of coitus interruptus.
But the Church does not condemn things like the pill or condoms in themselves. What is morally wrong is using such things with the intention of preventing conception. Using them for other purposes is fine - for example, using the pill to regulate the periods of a woman who is not in a sexual relationship is not wrong.

These lines speak to taking care of your body. You should not harm that which was created by God in His image. Substance abuse of any kind certainly harms the body and the mind. It can also lead to self-harming and even death.
Most Christians, especially Catholics, believe that using condoms is a sin since it opposes the command of God to procreate. However, there is no mention of condoms in the Bible saying it is right or wrong.
The Catholic Church's position is that it's against all birth control that it deems as artificial. That includes the birth control pill and condoms, and medical procedures such as vasectomy and sterilization.
Pope John Paul II upheld the church's traditional prohibition on condoms.
All things must be done within the bounds of Scripture and conscience, and each married couple should maintain an openness to the possibility of having children. But Christians should enjoy being married, and depending on their circumstances and plans, family planning is not inherently wrong.
But there is no place in the Bible that forbids the use of drugs, especially for someone who is ill. Jesus said: “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick”—Matthew 9:12.
We should always seek help from God as well as going for appropriate medical treatment - not instead of doing so. In Matthew 9, the Pharisees asked Jesus why he spent time with sinners. He replied, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick' (Matthew 9:12). Jesus recognised that sick people need doctors.
A Mortal Sin
According to Church doctrine, tampering with the "male seed" was tantamount to murder. A common admonition on the subject at the time was "so many conceptions prevented, so many homicides." To interfere with God's will was a mortal sin and grounds for excommunication.
The Roman Catholic church forbids contraceptive use because it is a sin against nature. Some Protestant denominations have allowed contraceptive use.
Writings of Muslim jurists make it clear that Islam allows for the use of reversible methods of contraception, including oral contraceptives, condoms, coitus interruptus, emergency contraception, injections, subdermal implants, IUDs, spermicides, and diaphragms.

Take Isaiah 66:13 for example, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” A mother's love is deep and comforting. God created the family, and children are a gift from Him. In fact, the Bible says that offspring are a reward from Him!
The above verses (and others) about anxiety find their home in Hebrews 11:1 and what it tells us about faith. Anxiety in and of itself isn't sinful. Not trusting God is sinful. It's sinful to live as if you need to take care of yourself because you can't trust God to provide.
The only surgical operations mentioned in the Bible are circumcision and castration, the former being mandatory – a covenant made with Abraham (Genesis 17:10-11), and the latter being forbidden (Deuteronomy 23:2).

Family planning. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God or Jehovah. As the Bible does not directly discuss birth control, birth control is seen as a personal decision and is left to the individual's conscience.

The official position of the Greek Orthodox Church was set forth in an encyclical written in 1937, which recommended abstinence as the only legal method of avoiding conception. The position of the Christian Orthodox Church on abortion and contraception is fundamentally identical to that of the Roman Catholic Church.
I'll cut to the chase: There is nothing immoral about tattoos. Mother Church has never condemned them, and neither can I. It is one of those areas where a Catholic must follow his or her conscience.
