Due to the gamma radiation that birthed him, his skin is nearly indestructible and takes massive force to break. Throughout Hulk's many on-screen fights, he has only bled twice, and both circumstances prove it takes a unique set of variables to accomplish that.
Hulk would not bleed; you can't pierce Hulk's skin, certainly not through a dinky car accident. So we needed to have him be in human form in order to have his Gamma-radiated blood get onto Jen and into her system, and we had to come up with a reason for why he was human."
2 Green Pigmentation. The Hulks are iconic green monsters. Their skin is green. They bleed green.
The mixture of serums gives him an edge over the hero for a short time. During this time, Hulk is pinned, and Blonksy forces him to watch Betty Ross die in a helicopter crash. He then proceeds to stab Hulk in the chest, making it the first time that the Green Goliath bleeds.
The Abomination is what the Hulk fears he will become if he gives in to his darker side. That's what made Abomination in 2008's The Incredible Hulk so unique. Emil Blonsky fully embraced what Bruce Banner would never let himself turn into.
2 THE ABOMINATION REPRESENTS THE MONSTER THAT THE HULK COULD BECOME. Emil Blonsky became Abomination not due to a freak accident, but because of his lust for Hulk-like power. In this transformation, he lost all of his humanity and now lives his life as this giant destructive force of a monster.
Vibranium can also cut the Hulk due to the same reasoning as Adamantium -- they are two of the strongest metals in the world. The one thing to note is that when Hulk gets angrier, his skin becomes more durable and can then withstand even these metals.
Canonically, Bruce knows his blood is dangerous if ingested, so there's no way he would ever purposefully give his cousin a transfusion.
The soft-spoken scientist's blood is infused with gamma radiation, allowing him to transform between being a human and being a ferocious green machine. However, it's possible that the gamma radiation in his blood also prevents him from being able to have a child with someone.
Because of the thickness and strength of the Hulk's skin, it's nearly impossible for any form of artillery to hurt him. Sure, everyone's seen bullets bounce off of the Hulk, but when we say he's bulletproof what we really mean is he's BULLETPROOF.
However, the Venom symbiote absolutely devoured the Hulk's body, seemingly permanently. It also made the alien costume strong enough to attack and overwhelm Thor later in the issue, before finally being subdued by Black Bolt and killed by a vengeful Black Cat.
History. During the time Bruce Banner lived in Rio de Janeiro, he worked in the Pingo Doce Bottling Plant. After Banner was cut, his gamma-irradiated blood dripped into one of the bottles where it was eventually drunk by the Watcher Informant in Milwaukee.
His mother in Marvel Comics, Caiera, is a member of a group called the Shadow People. Using a mystical energy source known as the Old Power, Caiera placed the son she shared with Hulk in a cocoon. Inside the cocoon, Skaar developed into an adult.
In the comics, Hulk eventually falls in love with a fellow warrior named Caiera the Oldstrong and she becomes pregnant.
His inner child despised everything Skaar stood for, but Skaar only had one thing on his mind—to find the Hulk and kill him for abandoning him on Sakaar. He blamed his father for every horrible thing he had to bear on his home world, and he would have the chance to pay him back when the Hulk finally arrived.
Bruce explains that Hulks metabolize alcohol at an incredible rate and thus cannot get drunk, thus their drinking sessions are, "All buzz, no barf." The "buzz" experienced while consuming alcohol is a stage of drunkenness. If they cannot get drunk, they cannot get a buzz.
Losing Himself
Not to go too far down the rabbit hole of pop psychology, but what Hulk and Banner are most afraid of is losing themselves to one another. Banner is afraid of what will happen if he Hulks out, his anger takes over, and he can't regain control.
Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross – Betty Ross' father and the Hulk's nemesis, a military general who used to hunt him.
Could Hulk ever become so angry/powerful that he could lift Thor's hammer? No. The Hulks strength may be unlimited, but the hammer can only be lifted by one who is worthy. The hammer is magic.
Fans know Spider-Man is strong, but Marvel confirms Peter Parker has the strength to not only survive a Hulk attack, but take him down too.
Hulk's inability to break Wolverine and his adamantium claws isn't an indictment of the green monster's strength but more shows how strong Wolverine's metal-coated bones really are. If the Hulk can't snap his claws, then it's unlikely many other heroes or villains could do so, either.
This might be up for debate, but Marvel has answered it in their comics. Hulk is difentiely stronger than Juggernaut. They solved this question in Juggernaut Number 2, where Cain Marko actually admits the Hulk is indeed stronger.
The bottom line is Thanos wins virtually every time that he and the Hulk go one-on-one against each other – not because he is stronger, but because he's more skilled and more intelligent.
The Hulk would win in a fight against Red Hulk. This is because his powers and abilities are amplified the angrier he becomes, and he'd, therefore, easily dispatch Red Hulk at his peak rage level. Additionally, the Hulk is stronger, faster, more invulnerable, more intelligent, and a better combatant than Red Hulk.
Stan Lee picked gray for the Hulk because he didn't want to invoke any associations with a particular ethnic group and because he wanted a color that would appear “scary and chilling.”
