Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba came to an end after 205 chapters. Fans were sad to say goodbye, but the finale offered a glimpse into the hopeful future Tanjiro and his friends fought to achieve. The ending came in two parts.
Demon Slayer is one of the most depressing modern shonen series. Though it's full of lovable characters like the compassionate Tanjiro Kamado and the neurotic lightning-fast slayer, Zenitsu Agatsuma, almost all of them are terribly traumatized and come from heartbreaking backgrounds.
It ended exactly when it was supposed to end. The story from the get go has always been about Tanjiro turning his sister back into a human and killing the oni responsible for doing it. By Chapter 205 of the manga, Tanjiro had achieved those goals.
Tanjiro and Kanao have married and had descendants in the personas of Sumihiko Kamado and Kanata Kamado.
Not only was it predictably tragic, but it's also probably one of the saddest backstories we've seen in the series thus far — and for some of the most ruthless villains we've seen so far. I mean, Daki's human name was literally that of a disease, which is pretty messed up.
Verdict. Demon Slayer returns for a third season premiere that is equal parts frustrating and exhilarating. After a phenomenal opening sequence featuring the villains with some stunning visuals, the hour-long premiere spends a little too much time on forced jokes and table setting rather than keeping the story moving.
It was never explained why Tanjiro managed to live past the age of 25. The most likely reason is the fact that the Curse has never been proven to exist. The Curse of the Demon Slayer Mark supposes that anyone who activates it will die at the age of 25 because the price of activating it is a person's lifespan.
Later it is revealed that he married fellow slayer Kanao Tsuyuri. In the Modern World, Tanjiro and Kanao had descendants named Sumihiko Kamado and Kanata Kamado.
As Muzan is about to shuffle off the mortal coil, he uses the last of his powers to turn Tanjiro into a demon. It was part of his nefarious plan all along! After all, it was theorized by the series big bads that Tanjiro's demonic potential surpasses even that of his sister, one of the strongest demons in existence.
Rengoku died at the end of the Mugen Train arc. He succumbed to his wounds after realizing that he didn't stand a chance against Akaza, who shamelessly fled the scene as soon as the sun came up. Rengoku died smiling, but not before giving Tanjiro some words of encouragement.
Demon Slayer season 3 release date: When will Demon Slayer season 3 air? Demon Slayer season three began airing on Crunchyroll on April 9, 2023. This is in line with the show's Japanese release schedule and means viewers will get new episodes every Sunday.
Fortunately, Tanjiro is reverted to human form by Tamayo, who uses her humanizing drug on Tanjiro. Although, turning back into a human wasn't easy for him, as Muzan, who resides inside Tanjiro, uses all his might to convince the young boy to remain a demon.
Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength.
Nezuko marries Zenitsu Agatsuma in the Demon Slayer series.
It is confirmed in the Volume 23 extras that Inosuke and Aoi did eventually end up together and that they have two great-grandsons, one of which is Aoba.
Zenitsu also protects Nezuko multiple times when she is in danger, evident during Zenitsu's first meeting with Inosuke Hashibira and the battle against Enmu in the train. Eventually Zenitsu and Nezuko would marry and start a family as evidenced by their descendants.
Usage of the technique however is highly dangerous, as the tremendous strain caused to the eyes ruptured blood vessels and could cause partial or complete blindness. Kanao used the Final Form to defeat Doma, although it rendered her almost blind in her right eye.
Despite being a bit older than Tanjiro, Zenitsu Agatsuma doesn't generally come across that way since his natural disposition is to flee. Although he doesn't always show it, Zenitsu is far from incompetent with a weapon, a familiarity stemming from his training-fueled upbringing as Jigoro Kuwajima's pupil.
While stuck physically at age 12 because of the whole demon thing, Nezuko is 14 chronologically.
Shinobu Kocho is probably the weakest when it comes to raw strength. However, she modified her katana in a manner which allowed her to stab her opponents. The tip of the sword is laced with poison that she uses to kill the demons.
Demon Slayer's adorable icon Nezuko has stolen fans' hearts for five key reasons, earning her the title “Best Girl” of the series.
