It's at that time they both admit they love each other but still don't get together. It's not until the end of Season 8 that they both feel free and empowered to pursue this unspoken thing between them that was always there from even before the beginning of “Suits.” So, why are they the real best couple on the show?
Throughout the series, they have various falling out, but fans knew from the beginning that any love story with a happy ending would mean Harvey ending up with Donna. Fortunately for fans, that's exactly what happened in the final season.
Across all eight seasons of Suits, Donna and Harvey's connection is undeniable and there is a constant will-they-won't-they element to their relationship. While it's a bumpy ride, Harvey and Donna do end up together by the time the show comes to an end.
Donna Falls in Love With Sam
Donna meets Sam Carmichael on her first night on the island during a storm, and the two of them then fall in love very deeply and very quickly.
In the finale of season 8, Harvey is able to realise his feelings for Donna and they kiss with all their pent up feelings and emotions. The series ends with the pair getting married.
The love of Harvey's life is Dana Scott. This is made clear every time Scottie appears, all throughout the five seasons. He loves Donna, but not in that way.
Harvey (Gabriel Macht) was furious with Donna (Sarah Rafferty) after she kissed him unexpectedly because he was in a relationship with Paula. His first instinct was to ask Paula to move in with him, but she declined, saying she didn't want to rush things.
Donna ended the midseason finale by kissing Harvey full on the mouth. "I'm sorry Harvey, but I just needed to know," she said post lip-lock and left the office.
Donna and Eric married, had a child, and moved to Chicago after That '70s Show, with That '90s Show also confirming that Jackie left Fez and married Michael, with whom she had a son.
Donna ultimately chose Eric (Topher Grace), the boy next door she always had feelings for. Later in the series, Hyde found love with Jackie (Mila Kunis), in an "opposites attract" style love affair.
And over the years, her salary stopped coming out of his pocket. Harvey grabbed a can opener from a waitress and Donna came up with a ritual to replace the whipped cream — which we still haven't seen. Was it decided off-camera what it was? Rafferty: The exact ritual that occurs with the can opener we haven't discussed.
Sheila Amanda Sazs is the Head of Admissions for Columbia University, the wife of Louis Litt and the mother of Lucy Litt.
At the end of Season 4, after working for nearly 13 years together, Donna quits being Harvey's assistant and is now working for Louis. She decided this because her relationship with Harvey is not working for her. Louis also said to her in a conversation that Harvey is unaware how lucky he is to have Donna.

In the season 6 finale, Mike becomes legitimate and resumes his position of junior partner at Pearson Specter Litt while also maintaining his ties to the legal clinic.
One Last Con (2019)
In the 1985-86 season, Donna and Ray discovered their unborn child had Down syndrome and, despite Ray's efforts for an abortion, Donna decided to keep the child. At a rodeo, she was injured by a bull, causing her to miscarry. She and Ray then adopted a deaf boy named Tony in 1986.
Donna agrees to marry Sam (I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do). Sam and Donna celebrate with their newfound family and friends (When All Is Said and Done). At the wedding, Harry tells Donna she was the first and last woman he ever loved, infering he is gay and pointedly looks at a local lad.
In a turn of events, the four of them end up stranded for the night in convent after their car breaks down. Valerie also convinces Donna to break up with Ray knowing that he is physical abusive.
Realizing that Harvey was never going to come around, Donna declared that their arrangement wasn't working for her anymore and that she'll now be Louis' secretary instead.
Rachel Zane comes clean about her kiss with Logan Sanders, prompting Mike to pay Logan a visit and attack him. When Logan reveals that Rachel let it persist for a while and enjoyed it, a claim Rachel does not dispute, Mike ends their relationship.
First of all, he had spent so much time away from his wife, Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario, and felt like he needed to slow down and live life with her rather than re-up his contract and commit to more time away from home.
One Last Con (2019)
This finally happened in the season eight finale when Harvey turned up at Donna's apartment and the pair sent the night together.
Louis resigned from Pearson Specter because he didn't want to put Harvey or anyone else in a position to fire him. It started when he unwound the Wexler stock purchase, despite Jessica telling him to tell Harvey first.
