While of course Eleven calls Dr. Brenner "Papa," he isn't actually her real father. Eleven's dad was shared in the book Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond. The novel was published in 2019 and is a prequel to Stranger Things.
Dr Brenner isn't actually Eleven's father and 'Papa' is simply the name he is known to her by.
Dr. Brenner raised Jane under the "name" Eleven. Brenner built himself up as a father figure in the mind of Eleven and seventeen other child test subjects, making them refer to him as "Papa". Kali Prasad, also known as Eight, managed to escape the lab before September 8, 1979.
So, Dr. Brenner waited for One to get older to make him breed with Terry Ives to create Eleven—to make sure that she was the strongest, and clearly, she is." Yep.
Next up, the viewers go on to theorise that One/Vecna is actually Eleven's dad. Yep, told you it was wild. The theory claims that Brenner wanted to create a child with stronger powers, so he waited until One was old enough to become a father.
In a fit of rage, Henry used his restored powers to brutally murder the other test subjects and workers, and attempted to do the same to Eleven. However, Eleven stood her ground and ultimately overpowered him, sending him through a gate to the Upside Down; there, he gradually transformed into the being known as Vecna.
Perhaps the scientist really did love Eleven like she was his family, but that love came from the conditional fact that she had supernatural powers. Eleven was a scientific anomaly, and that is what made Dr. Brenner so intrigued.
Martin Brenner saw the potential power of Henry Creel. But, since the nihilistic and sadistic Henry was too lost in his own evil to ever fully bring under his thumb, Brenner hoped to mold and shape his own human weapons from the beginning of their lives.
Vecna successfully stole Eleven's powers when controlling the Mind Flayer in Stranger Things' season 3 ending, which finally allowed him to emerge stronger than Eleven and enact his plan to take over Hawkins with the Upside Down.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi
The 19-year-old British actress, who plays Eleven in the sci-fi series, seemingly announced her engagement to Jon Bon Jovi's 20-year-old son, Jake Bongiovi, in an Instagram post on April 11.
It turned out that Brenner was still the power-hungry villain from earlier seasons and, as he lay dying on the ground near the end of Stranger Things season 4, Eleven left him behind for good.
Remember also that we have evidence that powers can be inherited -- El inherited her powers from Terri Ives, for example. So it stands to reason that Henry inherited his powers from one of his parents.
According to the Stranger Things novel Suspicious Minds, Eleven's real father has been identified as Andrew Rich, Terry Ives's old boyfriend. Terry Ives, portrayed by Aimee Mullins, has been confirmed as Eleven's biological mother.
While the source of Vecna's powers is never explained, there are some Stranger Things hints leading to the theory that Hawkins had a big part in awakening them. Vecna is revealed in season 4 to be the base cause behind all of Hawkins' unfortunate happenings for the past three years.
The theory claims that Vecna is Eleven's father. It first showed up on a podcast called Just The Nobodys, which was posted to TikTok. At first glance, the theory is pretty out-there, but there's actually enough evidence to give it credence.
In episode 7, Vecna is revealed to be Henry Creel (played as a youngster by Raphael Luce), the son of Victor Creel (Robert Englund) and his wife Virginia (Tyner Rushing) shown in the 1950s flashbacks.
Vecna hated humanity, believing human beings had imposed an artificial order upon the natural world.
One powerful reveal shows that Vecna was a boy called Henry Creel, who discovered he had powers such as telekinesis and a form of mind control, which he used to kill his family. His father, Victor Creel (played by horror icon Robert Englund), was blamed.
Jamie Campbell Bower plays 001 in Stranger Things 4.
He gets punished with electrocution after telling Eleven that Dr. Brenner lied to her about her mother dying during childbirth. He's smart enough to use an ostensibly harmless game of chess with Eleven to inform her Dr.
Although Eleven refused to give her “papa” that understanding in his final moments, Matthew explained that forgiveness “is the most powerful thing in the universe.”
Brenner Care About Eleven? According to Matthew Modine's excellent interview by Vulture, Dr. Brenner (AKA Papa) absolutely did love Eleven. But he absolutely doesn't defend what his character did to Eleven or the rest of the children.
"Vecna seems to be actually intrigued by Nancy being able to figure him out, to be able to get this close to the truth... I think this is more Vecna's narcissistic traits that pull him to Nancy, why he wants to give her this information."
While intending to get his revenge on Eleven and Brenner, Vecna also goes after victims who have dealt with traumatizing experiences in the past (reminiscent of his childhood and his time at the Hawkins lab).
Yeah, Bower says Brown was crying real tears during that scene. “She was terrified and freaked out. And Caleb [Heymann], our DP, was very smart and saw that she was having this reaction in the beginning of rehearsal and decided to shoot her first. It's so pure and beautiful,” Bower said.
