The Heir of Ravenclaw was an individual prophesized by the centaur Harmonthrep (Ajrand) to bring honor and glory to the House of Ravenclaw. The Heir of Ravenclaw was in time revealed to be Brian Dumbledore (Ajrand).
At some point in the tenth century, four of the greatest witches and wizards that ever lived founded Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Their names were Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff and Salazar Slytherin.
The Heir of Hufflepuff was none other than Cedric Diggory, who was well on his way to fulfilling the prophecy of the Heir of Hufflepuff when he was tragically murdered by Peter Pettigrew. Thus, the prophecy would remain unfulfilled forever.
Voldemort was Salazar's heir, and as far as it is explained, he is taking up the mission in the way he believes Salazar had intended, with the Chamber and the Basilisk.
The story of Chamber of Secrets, as you know, is that the Heir of Slytherin has returned and he's out for Mudbloods. The Heir of Slytherin turns out to be Ginny Weasley, who is being controlled via a magical diary that once belonged to Tom Riddle, AKA Voldemort.
It has long been theorized that Harry is the heir to Salazar Slytherin and/or Godric Gryffindor.
Credence Isn't Voldemort's Dad But He Could Be Snape's Grandpa. Before Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them came out, it seemed like the story's only real Potter connection would be Newt Scamander's relation to Luna Lovegood and a Dumbledore name-drop.
Myth 6: the Malfoys are heirs of Slytherin
So it's a surprise to find out Malfoy's as confused as everyone else. The only thing he is heir to is his family name, and as his father doesn't see fit to tell him about plans their house-elf Dobby is aware of, it seems he has a way to go yet…
Harry is the magical Heir of Gryffindor (and he's also a descendent of Godric), Neville of Hufflepuff, Hermione of Slytherin and Luna of Ravenclaw. (It was due to Dumbledore's manipulations that Neville and Hermione hadn't been put into the correct House.)
Godric Gryffindor married Sarena Gryffindor (born Deana). They had one daughter: Sarena Peverall (born Gryffindor).
He borrowed the Invisibility Cloak from James Potter once. He defeated the owner of the Elder Wand, Gellert Grindelwald, in a duel, and thus became the owner of that super-vital artifact. And, Dumbledore also sought out the Resurrection Stone after the death of his sister, Ariana.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin.
Upon their arrival at Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat placed Snape and Lily into Slytherin and Gryffindor Houses, respectively.
Although it was briefly speculated in The Chamber of Secrets, Harry is not, in fact, a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin, though he is still distantly related to him; Voldemort is descended from Slytherin and the second Peverell brother, while Harry is a descendant of the third.
Harry James Potter holds half-blood status in Rowling's imagined wizarding world because his mother is Muggle-born and his father is pure-blood. There are three main blood statuses; pure-blood, half-blood, and Muggle-born, which are all methods of determining a witch or wizard's magical lineage.
Andromeda married a Muggle-born, Ted Tonks, and was subsequently disowned by the Blacks, whereas Narcissa, conversely, married Lucius Malfoy, heir of a wealthy pure-blood family; thus, Bellatrix is the aunt of both Nymphadora Tonks and Draco Malfoy, respectively.
Ginny is a pureblood witch born 11 August 1981, the seventh child and only daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley. She attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and is sorted into Gryffindor house, along with the rest of her family.
One particularly popular theory is that Credence is really Tom Riddle Sr., Voldemort's father. However, given Voldemort's British origins, Tom Riddle's Muggle status, as well as the timeline of his birth — in December of 1926 — it seems extremely unlikely that Credence is actually Tom Riddle Sr.
So the suggestion is that Credence Barebone and Nagini will turn out to be Snape's grandparents. This is certainly not the first time that Nagini has been theorized to be related to someone in Harry Potter, and it is definitely not the first time it has been suggested that Credence and Nagini will become an item.
It turns out that Credence isn't Albus' brother — he's his nephew. "The Secrets of Dumbledore" circumvents the timeline issues by revealing that Credence — or rather, Aurelius — isn't Albus' brother. He's Aberforth's son, which makes him Albus' nephew.
Some believe that it is Ron Weasley, due to his bravery and loyalty. Others argue that Harry Potter is the rightful heir, as he embodies many of Gryffindor's qualities. The truth may never be known for sure, but either way, both Ron and Harry are worthy heirs to the great wizard's legacy.
All of the Weasleys have been sorted into Gryffindor House at Hogwarts. All of the Weasley children, except Bill and Percy who both were Head Boy, are known to have played on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, with Charlie being the captain of the team for at least one of his school years.
Tom Riddle was a descendent of Slytherin through the Gaunt family.
