Earth-616 is generally referred to as “our” universe. It has become such a Marvel institution that it was borrowed for the title of its upcoming documentary series Marvel's 616, which begins streaming exclusively on Disney+ this week.
Earth-616 has all the features of our reality: same countries, same personalities (politicians, movie stars, presidents, etc.), same historical events (Trojan War, World Wars, 9/11, etc.), and so on.
Earth 616. According to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe from 2008, the MCU takes place in Earth-199999, but the creative team at Marvel Studios still wants to keep the Earth-616 moniker for themselves.
Earth-1218 is the designation given to our reality, where super-heroes and other super-powered beings don't physically exist. This universe may appear somewhat dull from a cerebral perspective, but it does have its good sides, for those willing to recognize them.
Why 616? Creators Alan Moore and David Thorpe have different stories about how they chose that specific number. Moore stated it was just a random number, while Thorpe claimed it to be a play off of 666 but minus 50. Wherever the number came from, it stuck.
Earth-0 is one of the many universes within the Marvel Multiverse. Unlike other worlds, however, it is different in that it is incapable of interacting with other universes. It is unknown why this is, though it is theoretically possible for an individual from another universe to enter it.
History. The nexus of the Multiverse, Earth-001 was once home to numerous gods. The elder goddesses Gaea and Oshtur tasked their daughters Shathra and Neith with creating a means of mapping and monitoring the Multiverse.
In all the issues of Deadpool Kills Deadpool (July 2013), the story centers around the timeline of the Earth-616 Deadpool rather that any of the alternate universe versions. In Secret Wars (2015) #1, the universe where the main story line takes place is referred to as Earth-616.
Peter Parker (of Earth-96283) also known as Spider-Man is the main character of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series. He is portrayed by Tobey Maguire.

Earth-67 ends up being the world of the Spider-Man animated series from 1967-1970. Most notably, it takes place during the season 1 episode “Double Identity,” where an actor named Charles Cameo tries to steal priceless pieces of art via being a master of disguise.
Another major difference is the lack of Avengers in Earth-838, even though they still have Dr. Stephen Strange and a Captain Marvel.
Mutant-Human War
Earth-928 is a possible future of Earth-616, in which the world became embroiled in a massive civil war between humans and mutants.
And though there have been attempts to alter the Earth-616 designation along the way, it's stuck around as canon - apparently even into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, at least on some level.
Each Marvel setting has a universe designation that makes it a reality and independent canon of its own. Each one is an alternate reality with its own timeline that is official and legitimate in its own right. The Ultimates is not canon to 616, but Earth-1610 is real in its own right.
History. When Fujikawa Industries tried to tap into an alternate source of power, it got out of control when super-villains tried to take over it. In this event, Spider-Man was one of the first to die,, but his legacy lived on through Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099.
Earth-199999, AKA MCU Spider-Man's Earth
Like Earth-616, this reality is very similar to our own, just with superheroes flying all about the place, including Tom Holland's Spider-Man. This is where all of the MCU films happen, meaning the battle with Thanos, and all of the Avengers movies.

Earth-838 was a promise that the Illuminati, while dangerous, wouldn't exist in only one world. As a result, Earth-616 may find themselves in a world where a similar collection of people could try to do the same thing and create a world that was perfect by definition.
