Any wealth, power, or strength we have originated with God. Any gift or talent we have – the same is true (James 1:17; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11). Even our ability to give generously comes from God (Deuteronomy 8:18; 2 Corinthians 9:10-11). Everything we have, and everything else that exists, is all his.
(1 Corinthians 11:12). “ALL THINGS ARE OF GOD, who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:18).
All human beings are created in God's image, rather than only a ruler or a king.
Our lives have already been planned and laid out, and we must just walk in it and rely on a God who has it in the bag. One thing about God, as the Bible tells us, is that he is an on-time God. Not your time, but His.
John 14:8 If God Is All You Have, You Have All You Need.
The Bible teaches that God's sovereignty is an essential aspect of who he is, that he has supreme authority and absolute power over all things. And yes he is very much active, despite our perplexity. Scripture says, God works “all things according to the counsel of his will” (Ephesians 1:11).
He will always be there for us and will never forsake us. He knows our abilities and our limits. He loved us so much that He was willing to come and die for our sins.
People will continue to hinder God's plans for your life but they cannot stop it no matter how hard they might try. Study the life of Moses, Ruth, Joseph and Job and you will see and be encouraged. No one can nullify GOD'S plans. Human's plans will always fail.
God knows all.
God's view is not bound by time (see D&C 38:2). In addition, He had an eternity of personal experience with us before we came to this earth, so He knows the inclinations and character of each of us better than we do.
As Founder and Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, God holds the rights to all of it. That includes even us – our bodies, our minds, and our lives.
God uses no preexisting material to create the universe. God's act of creation causes matter, space, time, and even the very laws which govern the universe to exist. Regardless of the scientific explanations of 'how' it came to be, God, in one divine action from all of eternity, creates and sustains all that exists.
No one created God. God got created as the universe grew and changes. God is the cumulative energy of the universe. So, infact universe created God.
He created people out of love for the purpose of sharing love. People were created to love God and each other. Additionally, when God created people, he gave them good work to do so that they might experience God's goodness and reflect his image in the way they care for the world and for each other.
What does God give us today? Everything. All the things and people in our lives. He gives us new life in baptism through his Word and Spirit so that our life is attached to Jesus, our Resurrection and Life, today and always.
Nothing deviates from God's purpose. The counsel of God is immutable. His will is always done. Paul says: God “works all things according to the counsel of his own will.” (Ephesians 1:11).
God is the owner of the universe because He created it (Genesis 1:1, John 1:3). The earth along with everything it contains belongs to Him. “The world and all that is in it belong to the Lord; the earth and all who live on it are his.
Christ even suggests that God sees into your heart and knows your intentions. Love God and love neighbor as you love yourself. This is so simple and so incredible that if you're not careful, you'll miss it altogether.
God never forgets anything because, from before the beginning of time through all of eternity, He always has known and always will know everything there is to know about everyone and everything. Our God is omniscient.
When we choose to do what is right in the sight of God and not man, or for the benefit of our own needs and desires, God will reward us. He will not only reward us, but he will do supernaturally, far above and abundantly all that we could ever ask, think, desire or even pray for.
Abstract. When mankind had become corrupted in the period preceding the flood, God said: 'My spirit shall not abide in man for ever, for he is flesh; his days shall be a hundred and twenty years' (Gen. 6:3).
Isaiah 43:13 in Other Translations
13 “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”
Yes, you can miss good things God might have given you if you would have obeyed God's word. If you obey God's word, then you will not miss God's will for your life. God is sovereign and is always able to accomplish his sovereign plan.
This is one of the most incredible things. There are over 6 billion people in the world when you think about it, and God still thinks about us constantly. God can give us His undivided attention. God is not thinking about how far we have to go.
He smiles at you — and not because he sees someone smarter, taller, better looking, or holier standing just behind you. He looks each redeemed child in the eye and tells him of his love for him in his Son. This is who our God is towards us.
Even when it seems that God chooses to be silent on a particular topic, we may come to find that He is never completely silent. God is always speaking; and what is more, He is always speaking to US!
