Rainfall trickles down through a volcanic rock filter and is collected in an aquifer, with FIJI Water specifically obtaining its “untouched” water from an artesian aquifer located in Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island.

And after doing some basic color metric tests and other water purity tests they discovered that Fiji Water had high levels of bacteria. She also found that Evian was the only other brand that ever had an instance with contaminated water. All other bottled water brands tested as clean as filtered tap water.
Tap water. The water that comes out of the tap in Fiji is not the same as that famous bottled water. It's generally safe to drink tap water at major hotels and in popular tourist areas like Nadi and Suva, but some visitors do complain about the taste. Outside of these centres, tap water may not be safe to drink.

Boil the Water
Boiling water will kill parasites, bacteria and viruses. Bring the water to a hard boil for at least ten minutes and it will be safe to drink.
Fiji Artesian Water is the choice of water for those suffering from kidney stones and urinary tract infection, as the water is said to be beneficial in removing or preventing these ailments.
The smooth taste comes from the naturally-occurring mineral silica. FIJI Water comes from the Fiji Islands, where it passes through volcanic rock formations and pulls out silica. It's actually one of the highest silica-content waters you can find in stores.
The verdict? Turns out Fiji Water isn't as pure as it appears. Higher levels of arsenic — 6.31 micrograms per liter — were found in the square bottle, which was more than other water brands and even the tap water flowing from the city of Cleveland itself.
Alkaline Water
Alkaline water has a pH of 8 or 9, which is higher than normal tap water with a neutral pH of 7. Alkaline water is one of the healthiest water to drink as it contains properties that may even help protect the body from free radicals, which are usually linked to numerous chronic diseases and inflammation.
Fiji water contains hundreds of organic and inorganic chemical compounds, including minerals such as silica, calcium, and magnesium (per Fiji). Silica, in particular, is found in notably concentrated levels (86 milligrams per liter).

Fiji Natural Artesian Water
Each bottled water contains 17mg of sodium per liter, which is higher than other commercial bottled waters, but is still considered low-sodium. The brand uses volcanic rock to filter out sediments and contaminants in the water, resulting in soft water with a clean, crisp taste.
FIJI water is sourced from a remote underground aquifer on the main island of Viti Levu in Fiji. The water is naturally filtered through layers of volcanic rock, which adds to its mineral content and gives it a distinctive taste.
Bottled at the source, our water is pumped through a sealed delivery system free of human contact. The water is filtered to remove any particulate matter, micron-filtered to remove microbiological particles and ultra violet light is applied to ensure disinfection.
