As the second child of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana, Prince Harry is fifth in line for the throne after his brother, nephews and niece. His wife, Meghan Markle, is not in line for the throne - much like the Duchess of Cambridge - but their two children are.
At present, Harry is fifth in line to the throne and this is a birthright 'privilege' that cannot be revoked without an Act of Parliament being in place.
Harry remained a Prince, and the couple kept their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, but are no longer addressed as His/Her Royal Highness (HRH). He also gave up his military titles and no longer wears army uniform in public.
Prince Harry
The Queen's grandson and the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. He's fifth in line to the throne.
And though Harry and his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, have stepped back as senior members of the royal family, he should still remain in the line of succession. Harry was born in 1984 when his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was monarch and his father was heir apparent.
According to The Mirror, the royal family has apparently discussed at length stripping Harry of his title. Though Harry's prince title is a birthright and cannot be taken away, the Duke of Sussex title was a gift from Her late Majesty upon his marriage to Meghan in 2018.
The last person to hold the title Queen Consort was the current queen's mother. When her husband King George VI died in 1952 she was officially re-styled Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. If William dies before Kate and their son Prince George becomes king, Kate will then become the Queen Mother.
In the event of Prince William's death occurring before King Charles's, Prince Harry would still not be the next choice for King, instead that honor would move on to Prince William's eldest son, Prince George.
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor
Archie is the seventh in line for the British throne.
Sixth in line is Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, who is Prince Charle's second son and William's brother. However, succession is decided not only through descent—the first born of the first born, then the second etc—but also by Parliamentary statute. This protocol was established more than 300 year ago.
Despite their step back in January 2020 as working members of the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have retained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, bestowed upon them by Her late Majesty on their wedding day, May 19, 2018.
Harry and Meghan made the choice to give up their His / Her Royal Highness (HRH) titles, meaning that they won't be referred to by their "Royal" names. This means that yes, Harry no longer wishes to be referred to as 'Prince'. Interestingly, however, the Duke of Sussex is still fifth in line for the throne.
"Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet," the palace previously said in a statement.
Prince Harry and Meghan lost their ability to use their HRH titles in 2020 when the couple decided to take a step back from royal duties. Harry remained a Prince, and the couple kept their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, but are no longer addressed as His/Her Royal Highness (HRH).
The reason for this sequence is a law that says that the firstborn of the incumbent regent will be next in line and, if this is not possible, the throne is passed to the next son, in addition to the fact that Anne is a woman: in the past there was a protocol that when the monarch did not have a male child, the crown ...
Next in line is his firstborn, William, Prince of Wales, and then William's firstborn, Prince George. But where do other known royals like Princess Charlotte, Princess Beatrice, and baby Lilibet fall in the line for the crown?
1. William, Prince of Wales.
Princess Charlotte
She would become Queen only if Prince George predeceased her without having any living children.
Kate will instead be a queen consort, the wife of a reigning king (William, of course). In the role, she will support her husband in his duties, attend engagements, and help with charitable organizations that resonate with her.
He told Britain's ITV he had fled Britain with his family for California in 2020 "fearing for our lives," and said he no longer recognized his father or his elder brother, Prince William, the heir to the throne.
In the event that Prince William dies before the King, his eldest son Prince George will become next in line to the throne. As Prince George does not have children, if something were to happen to him as well his younger sister Princess Charlotte would be next in line, followed by their youngest sibling Prince Louis.
Prince Andrew, the Duke of York
Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth II's second child and King Charles III's younger brother, is eighth in line to the throne. The royal, who has denied allegations of sexual abuse, has two children with ex-wife Rebecca Ferguson.
Why isn't Kate called Princess? Even though Kate's mother-in-law was legendary 'Princess Diana', she is not a princess just because she married Prince William. To become a Princess, one has to be born into the Royal Family such as Prince William and Kate's daughter, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
He is also the father of Queen Elizabeth's great-grandchildren: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. So what will Prince William inherit from Queen Elizabeth? After Queen Elizabeth's death, Prince William inherited the Duchy of Cornwall, a private estate worth around $1.2 billion.
Most of her personal estate will be inherited by her son, King Charles. Looks like Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will probably receive nothing of value, Radar reported. Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is set to inherit $110 million worth of jewelry that Elizabeth II left behind, according to reports.
