After Airk was kidnapped, Dove/Elora snuck out of the castle to join the group set out to find him. Once she joined the group and met Willow, he revealed that she was in fact Elora Danon and that she was the only one who could save them from the dark forces that were coming their way.
We never are led to think Kit (Ruby Cruz) is secretly the child destined to become Empress. We don't have to wait until the season finale to learn that Halbrand is Sauron kitchen maid “Dove” (Ellie Bamber) is really Elora Danan.
Elora Danan is a fictional character from the 1988 fantasy film Willow, and in the 2022 sequel TV series, Willow. She is a Daikini, one of the average-sized races of people in the film (as opposed to the dwarf-sized Nelwyns). She is played by several different infants in the film, and by Ellie Bamber in the TV series.
It seems like a lot of you missed the reasoning behind the color change... Elora Danan is natural born redhead, Sorsha changes it to blonde when Elora was an adolescent. In this series the closer she gets to her destiny the more her natural red hair comes out, that's the meaningful reason anyway.
During the journey, Willow teaches Elora the magical arts but she has trouble activating her powers. Elora is later kidnapped by soldiers sent to rescue her, but corrupted by evil forces, but not before using magic to create a sapling.
Elora Danan, formally styled as Her Royal Highness the Sacred Princess Elora Danan, is the tritagonist of Willow. She was a female Daikini. A gifted child born with a certain mark, she was prophecized to become empress of Tir Asleen, Galladoorn, Nockmaar, and Cashmere.
In the 1988 film Willow, Elora Danan was a Daikini child who was prophesied to bring about the downfall of the powerful and evil Queen Bavmorda. She was to be distinguished by a specific mark on her arm, so Bavmorda seized all the pregnant women in the land and, when Elora was born, intended to kill her.
Graydon appears to have found himself in a more dystopian setting. But he is in love with (and was rejected by) Elora, so with her invitation, Graydon is getting what he wants, in a way. It doesn't seem to be a happily ever after kind of thing, but this Elora asked him to join her.
The only one left behind is Willow, still shaken by visions of his daughter, Mims (Annabelle Davis), dying. Willow decides his family is his highest priority and turns his back on his party, going alone on the road back home.
The Nelwyns were one of the intelligent races that lived on the Mother World, along with the Daikinis and many others.
Kiaya Ufgood was the wife of Willow Ufgood and the mother of their children Mims and Ranon.
Elora was later hidden away by her adoptive parents, Madmartigan and Sorsha. Remaining unaware of her identity, Elora was disguised as the maid Brunnhilde, nicknamed Dove and remained oblivious to her destiny, where she had fallen in love with Prince Airk Tanthalos.
She grew up as Brünhilde, nicknamed Dove, and soon became a competent kitchen maid in the castle. A kitchen maid named Dove is actually Elora Danan, played by Ellie Bamber.
In Willow, it is established right out of the gate that Princess Kit's (Ruby Cruz) marriage to Prince Graydon Hastor (Tony Revolori) has been arranged by her mother, Queen Sorsha (Joanne Whalley).
Princess Kit Tanthalos was a Daikini noble, the daughter of Queen Sorsha of Tir Asleen and Madmartigan. A free-spirited young woman and a skilled swordswoman, she had romantic feelings for Jade Claymore, a woman warrior serving the royal family.
When the group arrives at Willow (Warwick Davis)'s home, he instantly recognizes Dove, and magically reveals the mark on her arm that signifies her true identity. He tells her that she's Elora Danan, high priestess and true empress of Tir Asleen, and the only one who can defeat the coming evil.
Sorsha is the tritagonist of Willow. She was the daughter of Queen Bavmorda and Prince Mikal Tanthalos of Tir Asleen. She was portrayed by Joanne Whalley in both the 1988 film and 2022 Disney+ television series, Willow.
Posting to Twitter this morning, Kasdan revealed the main reason behind the cancellation of Willow was to allow the actors to pursue other projects.
The events of 1988's Willow saw the evil Queen Bavmorda's plot to banish the spirit of Elora Danan, who was prophesied to dethrone her, thwarted by Willow and his friends. The film ends with Elora safely in the hands of Sorsha and Willow back in his village.
At the end of Episode 1, when the band of heroes finally reaches Willow, he reveals that Dove is actually the grown-up Elora Danan. It's a pivotal moment for the character and in revealing the true protagonist of the series.
Character history. Graydon Hastur is a Prince of Galladoorn, the son of King Hastur and Queen Arianna. Because his brother fell off a tree, Graydon was forced into an arranged marriage with Princess Kit Tanthalos of Tir Asleen some two hundred moons after the fall of Bavmorda.
Inherently, Graydon is a good guy who's done a bad thing, and therefore, he cannot forgive himself for it. So it was really interesting to play someone who has the best intentions, but doesn't even trust himself.
The Willow movie revolved around a baby called Elora Danan, whom heroes Madmartigan, Sorsha, and the title character were trying to protect. The succeeded in their mission, and the child's survival helped to break the curse set by evil sorceress Bavmorda.
In one heartbreaking exchange, we learn that Willow's wife is dead and his son ran away, leaving only father and daughter.
As fate would have it, the infant Elora Danan is rescued and smuggled away by a courageous kitchen maid. Willow soon becomes the protector and savior of the young princess and ends up killing Queen Bavmorda to save the child, thereby fulfilling the prophecy, but not in an exact way.
