Luna started attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1992 and was sorted into Ravenclaw House. One year behind the famous Harry Potter, she noticed Thestrals on her very first day of school.
Despite being overlooked and often mocked by her peers, she never once doubts herself. She has the strength to believe in herself and her own wisdom – a trait which makes Luna Lovegood a true Ravenclaw.
It was confirmed on Pottermore that Hermione was also a bit of a Hatstall, as the Sorting Hat saw the potential for her to be both Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. In the end, Gryffindor won out, and it's possible that Hermione wanted to be seen for being brave more than for her intelligence.
She is perceptive
Ravenclaws are perceptive, and Luna noticed all kinds of things others didn't during her time at Hogwarts.
Luna was invented after the major Gryffindor characters were established in the 1st and 2nd books. Given how quirky she was it seems unreasonable to expect her to have been a Gryffindor without having been noticed much earlier than she was.
Moaning Myrtle
Born in the late 1920s to Muggle parents, Myrtle Warren started her Hogwarts life in the early 1940s, where she was sorted into Ravenclaw.
Who were the heirs of each of the four founders of Hogwarts? Ravenclaw heir is the Grey Lady; aka Helena Ravenclaw. We do not know if she has any other children or if Helena had any children. So we don't know if there are any Ravenclaw heirs alive at the time of Harry's hogwarts days.
She tends to act out of loyalty and her “heroic”nature rather than to do what is right for everyone, which isn't a bad thing mind you, but it isn't a Hufflepuff thing to do. Also while Hufflepuff's are calm and grounded due to their element being Earth, Hermione is fiery and cunning much like Gryffindor's fire.
1 Rowena Ravenclaw
As one of the most famous Ravenclaws, Rowena built her house on the ideals she valued and embodied — intelligence and creativity.
She said that Luna was 'the anti-Hermione. Hermione's so logical and inflexible in so many ways and Luna is likely to believe ten impossible things before breakfast'. It's true in countless ways – Luna was just such a free spirit in a way that Hermione wasn't.
He was a Gryffindor
Hagrid's Hogwarts house is never mentioned in the books, but, given his kindness, noble nature and bravery, it might not come as that much of a surprise that Hagrid was in Gryffindor.
Ron Weasley
Being Harry Potter's best friend certainly needed heaps of bravery – hence the Sorting Hat not messing around in sorting Ron into Gryffindor, the house of his parents, brothers and sister.
He actually asked the Sorting Hat to place him in Hufflepuff, as he was intimidated by Gryffindor's reputation for bravery, but the Sorting Hat didn't agree. They debated it for so long, that he was close to being what is known as a Hatstall, which is a term for any student whose Sorting takes longer than five minutes.
Helga Hufflepuff
The founder of Hufflepuff House is by far the greatest Hufflepuff of all time. Along with Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff founded Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
J.K. Rowling did not explicitly write the character of Luna Lovegood as a person with Asperger's. But because she is a good writer, she created a character with a distinct personality that is also familiar in many ways.
Why was Luna in Malfoy Manor? In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Luna is taken prisoner by the Death Eaters to blackmail her father into cooperating with them. She's held in the basement of Malfoy Manor along with Ollivander.
Hermione points out that Padma and Parvati Patil are twins, yet while Parvati ended up in Gryffindor, Padma is a Ravenclaw.
Ravenclaws cherish intelligence
The house is all about brains. After all, their motto is 'Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure'.
Albus Dumbledore: Gryffindor
Some people show traits from multiple houses, and although Dumbledore is definitely one of those, his passion and courage make him a clear Gryffindor.
Since Hufflepuff isn't known for things like brains or brawn, the house is often considered the worst Hogwarts house.
Often considered the least desirable of all the sorting options, here are some reasons why Hufflepuff house is the worst. Updated November 22nd, 2020 by Ian Goodwillie: While the Hufflepuffs are endearing in their own special way, the reasons they are the worst are almost too innumerable to count.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin.
We also meet Tom Riddle, who is, as it turns out, the heir of Slytherin. Present only in spirit, he has all the same been controlling Ginny, and having her act as Slytherin's heir. We also meet the Monster of the Chamber, a basilisk.
Neither of them is Slytherin's heir. Although, as Dumbledore says, Harry's ability to speak Parseltongue is a skill accidentally transferred by Slytherin's actual heir, Voldemort, when he tried to kill Harry as a baby. So perhaps this is one myth with a bit of truth to it.
Harry is the Heir of Gryffindor (though his powers have been bound by his father when he was a baby), Neville is the Heir of Hufflepuff, Meghan (OFC, daughter of Sirius) is the Heir of Ravenclaw.
