"Maeve is going to learn she's pregnant with Butcher's child. She was ready for everything to be over and ready and willing to die... but she's gonna have to rethink everything after learning she's pregnant.
She ends up drinking with him. Butcher tells Maeve that every single last one of them has got to go, referring to Supes. She agrees and they have rough sex. Homelander confronts Maeve about betraying him because he can smell Butcher all over her.
But, surprisingly, both Queen Maeve and Soldier Boy survive. Maeve, now powerless (Soldier Boy's radiation removed the Compound V in her system, just like it did to Kimiko), is also free to live the life she always wanted with her girlfriend Elena.
Some cast members are potential question marks. Kripke had this to say to Deadline: "We definitely won't reach the end of the series without seeing Maeve again. I'm hoping we see Soldier Boy again."
Following Soldier Boy's attack, Vought made Maeve into a martyr and gave her credit for saving the day. It was revealed, however, that Maeve had, in fact, survived the explosion, although she no longer has superpowers, and had reunited with her girlfriend, Elena.
The fans wait to see how the scene would play a role in the future episodes of the show. But looking at how Butcher hates Superheroes and wants them all gone, the hookup with Maeve was just a moment of passion and means nothing more to him. It could just be a way to move the plot forward with Homelander.
In Kripke's words: "It is right narratively for [Maeve] to exit stage left because she was too powerful, and she solved too many of Starlight's problems for her. For Starlight to truly flower into the powerful character she is, she needs to remove all of her life preservers.
Except, Maeve isn't actually gone at all. A few scenes later, the Queen of the Seven shows up a little worse for wear, but definitely alive still. And even better, she's back with Elena, her lost love from season two.
On top of that, it has also been revealed that within the fourth series of the show, character Maeve will only appear sporadicly. Emma previously revealed that this is the case as her character is separated from the rest of the cast, as jets off to America to study.
It's a goodbye to Maeve. Sex Education star Emma Mackey has confirmed she will be leaving the Netflix comedy after season 4.
Maeve manages to give Butcher three vials of Temp-V or V-24, levelling the playing field by giving its user powers for 24 hours. But all in vain. Maeve gets more V-24 to Butcher and feeling dejected and defeated, the two get drunk and have sex, which left everyone shocked. That was not what viewers had expected coming.
In both the comic and TV series, Noir is a member of the hedonistic and reckless Vought-American superhero group the Seven and is depicted as a "silent ninja" type parody of Batman, Snake Eyes and Deathstroke.
She is at first rejoiced at being selected, however is later sexually assaulted when the Deep extorts her into performing oral sex on him in "The Name of the Game" in order for her to stay on the team.
Following Butcher and Hughie's super-powered excursion in Russia, episode 5, “The Last Time to Look on This World of Lies,” sees Maeve bring Butcher more V-24. Feeling defeated, the pair then get drunk and have sex—which very few people likely saw coming.
Homelander rushes to check on his son as Soldier Boy prepares once again to blast both his son and grandson to pieces. Butcher then betrays Soldier Boy as he promised his late wife Becky that he would protect Ryan at all costs. Butcher then fights Soldier Boy as Maeve fights Homelander.
Most notably, however, Maeve was in a relationship with Homelander but broke up with him when he tricked her into having a blindfolded sex session with Black Noir and physically assaulted her when questioned about it.
Of course, Emma's exit would be cutting short the long-teased romance between Otis and Maeve which - and spoiler alert for those who haven't finished season three just yet - finally went ahead in the latest season, only for it to be put on hold as Maeve accepted her placement on a US transfer programme for three months ...
Season 1. At the begining of season 1, Maeve and Jackson were having casual sex. Jackson wanted to go on an date with her, but Maeve were keep pushing him away. During one time they were having sex, Maeve got pregnant, which later she got aborted.
Emma Mackey to leave 'Sex Education' after season 4: "I've said goodbye to Maeve"
Yup, Soldier Boy is Homelander's biological father. Suddenly all these daddy issues make a lot more sense. This character element isn't from the original The Boys comics, but was something Kripke and the writer's room came up with for the show.
Maeve (Medb) was one of the daughters of the king of Tara, who killed her pregnant sister. Maeve then married Aillil and took over the territory of Connacht, which would have belonged to her sister had she lived.
In actual physical combat, Homelander and Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) are the only two who would likely be able to beat Maeve.
He's just keeping her alive until he no longer needs her. There is one thing he needs to do first, and that's to harvest her eggs. You see, Homelander wants a child. He wants to create a child with Queen Maeve.
These include Queen Maeve's powers, since she can actually fly in the comics, and it was Amazon's adaptation that decided to deprive her of that gift on TV.
In the finale, released on Prime Video on Thursday night, Homelander (Antony Starr) ruthlessly killed Black Noir by shoving his hand through his chest and ripping out his organs. "I don't think we walked into the finale knowing we were gonna do it," Kripke said.
