Soy Sauce. Made from fermented soy beans and wheat, soy sauce is low FODMAP. Tamari, a Japanese version of soy sauce made from only soybeans, is also low FODMAP.
Hot or spicy foods may irritate the digestive system and trigger IBS symptoms. Some flavorings — such as miso, soy sauce, and saki — contain ingredients that might act as FODMAPs in large quantities.
There are many good sources of plant-based protein which are also low in FODMAPs, including soy foods and grains. Although whole soy beans contain a significant amount of the galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) stachyose and raffinose, many products made from soy beans are actually low in FODMAPs.

Worcestershire sauce has been laboratory-tested for FODMAPs by Monash University (the creators of the low FODMAP diet). Although typically made with higher FODMAP ingredients (like garlic or molasses), Worcestershire sauce is considered low FODMAP in servings of 2 tablespoons or 42 grams.
A small serving of avocado (1.1 ounces) is low in FODMAPs and unlikely to cause symptoms, even among people who are sensitive to FODMAPs. It should be noted that avocado oil, a type of oil made from avocados, does not contain any carbs and is FODMAP-free. Therefore, it's safe for those who are sensitive to FODMAPs.
Monash University considers a dairy product to be low FODMAP if the amount of lactose per serving is 1 gram or less (Source: A Little Bit Yummy). For this reason, butter is low FODMAP.
Soy is difficult to digest, which can cause gas, bloating and general discomfort. Fermented forms of soy, such as miso, tempeh or soy sauce are more easily digested than non-fermented soy foods.
5. Tomatoes. Fresh tomatoes are in the low FODMAP category, so can be eaten freely and according to appetite. However, just before you go and throw plain crushed canned tomatoes into your low FODMAP pasta dish, beware that canned tomatoes have higher levels of fructose compared to fresh tomatoes.
Avocados contain FODMAPs that can trigger IBS symptoms and may be high, moderate, or low in FODMAPs depending on how much you eat. In terms of portion sizes, 1/8 of an avocado is considered low-FODMAP and should be safe to eat if you have IBS. Some people may be able to tolerate more.

Sourdough (white wheat, whole wheat, spelt): 2 slices. Gluten-free (white): 2 slices. Millet: 2 slices. Wheat (wholemeal, white): 1 slice.
Low-FODMAP dairy foods include: Cheddar cheese, cream, feta cheese, lactose-free milk and Parmesan cheese.
Carrots are a FODMAP-free food. Enjoy according to your appetite. Dijon Mustard is low FODMAP in servings of 1 tablespoon or 23 grams. Garlic-infused oil is a popular way to add low FODMAP garlic flavor on the low FODMAP diet.
Balsamic Vinegar Is Low FODMAP.
Aged cheeses include Cheddar, Camembert, Cheshire, Pecorino Style, Swiss, Brie, Blue Cheese, Havarti, or Parmesan. These are low FODMAP cheese options and they are normally well tolerated by people with lactose intolerance.
Peanut Butter is a Low FODMAP Food
In its simplest form, it is just made of dry roasted peanuts, salt and oil, all of which are allowed on a low FODMAP diet. However, some brands add refined sugar and flavourings to enhance the peanut butter's taste.
