Firstly, Talisker, appearing in The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day. During both, bottles of Talisker make an appearance in M's office. The glass Bond drinks from during The World is not Enough even triggers his realization that a bomb is about to be detonated and kill Sir Robert King.

The Macallan
It is a Macallan 1962 Fine and Rare Vintage, and is mentioned by Silva to be a "50 Year Old". This is a reference to the 50th anniversary of the Bond franchise, as Dr. No was released in 1962 - the same year in which the rare whisky was distilled.
The Talisker distillery is one of the distilleries on the Isle of Skye. Its whisky has a unique distinctive insular taste. There is a high demand for rare releases of this distillery among fans, collectors and investors, shown by the growth of the average lot price in charts and the increased volume of trade.
Talisker was built in 1830 by brothers Kenneth and Hugh MacAskill. in 1848 they passed the lease of Talisker on to North of Scotland Bank. for the Talisker distillery; Roderick Kemp and Alexander Grigor Allen. Roderick Kemp sold his share of Talisker in 1892 and used the proceeds to buy Macallan.
The Talisker family all have a peated, smoky flavour. This flavour comes from the peat burned during the malting process.
And it is this inescapable ocean influence that gives Talisker its unique characters. It's salty, seaspray and peppery aromas drawn from the Atlantic Ocean that are also blended with a good mix of peaty smoke.

Does Johnny Walker own Talisker? No, Johnny Walker does not own Talisker. However Talisker is owned by the same parent company, Diageo, a multinational alcoholic beverages company.
In 1916, after Mackenzie's death, both the Talisker and Dailuaine distilleries were taken over by a consortium which included John Walker & Sons and John Dewar & Sons (and Talisker has been a key constituent in Johnnie Walker Black Label ever since).

The peat level is a moderate 16-22 ppm (Phenol Parts per Million) and their 10 year old is aged primarily in ex-bourbon casks which they constructed to a larger hogshead size. Talisker 10 Year is bottled at a very appreciated 45.8% ABV. 100% malted barley from a single distillery. Dried with peat.

Most Australian whisky is produced using a very similar process to that of Scotch whisky; however the flavour of Australian whisky is subtly different.
As you can see in the pictures below their spirit stills are very different from the wash stills. This helps with the character and flavors they are trying to develop. Their worm tubs are located outside and they actually use the sea water to do the cooling.
