The Traveler, whether it's Aether (boy) or Lumine (girl) is the only free 5-star character that players will ever obtain.
You see, the Traveler is a god who's powers have been somehow restricted. They can only control multiple elements as their remaining abilities. As a result, they have to travel through Teyvat and regain it through the story. The sibling is the one who has already done this, thus being more powerful than the Traveler.
Dont you find it weird that traveler is actually one of the strongest characters in the lore but in the actual game he/she is weakest compared to the other 5stars. ATLAS. Mention your friends so they see this post too!
Taking the number one spot in our list of the best 5-star characters in Genshin Impact is Ganyu! She's a Cryo Bow character and half-qilin Adeptus who works with the Liyue Qixing. Not to mention she's pretty much the most powerful playable character in the game.
The Traveler's Anemo abilities are extremely useful in combat, especially when triggering the Swirl Reaction. Luckily, Swirl will occur with any element other than Geo, so pairing up the Traveler with other party members is very flexible.
Interestingly enough, Xiao and Lumine are placed together in the balcony, which not only is the place where they first met, but it's canonically a haven for lovers to meet up at.
Lumine actually. has a higher charged attack damage bonus than ether. Coupled with her attack speed, she actually has a higher DPS.
Dehya is the latest 5-star character to join the cast, but many fans are disappointed by her kit and strength. Some even went so far as to call her the worst 5-star character in Genshin Impact.
Xinyan is the least popular female character who actually debuted in Genshin Impact, and she only had 190 votes. It's quite unfortunate for Xinyan fans since the next Beidou is only ranked above her by one spot, but with nearly four times as many votes.
Some people in the community argued before in 2.0 with her Story Quest that Ayaka has romantic feelings towards the Traveler, while others think she's just not used to having someone to call a friend and can seem overly attached.
Lumines charged attacks are actually slightly stronger than Aethers. (Speciffically 11.5% stronger.)
Appearance. The Traveler is at least 500 years alive and they both appear as young adults. Both Aether and Lumine have blond hair, have golden eyes, fair light skin, and are both twins.
It's speculated that the Unknown God is the ruler of Celestia and therefore the deity whom all others must answer to, in addition to potentially being responsible for the destruction of both Khaenri'ah and the Travelers' world (which may have led the siblings to travel across other worlds) as her cubes can be seen ...
Tropes. Xiaother is the slash ship between Xiao and Aether from the Genshin Impact fandom.
1 Lumine + Childe
Ever since the "Hey girlie," scene in Liyue, Childe's friendliness towards the Traveler, especially Lumine, has made the two one of the most popular ships among the fanbase.
Xiao now bears the title of the last surviving Yaksha. In his story quests, he mentions that he can't stay around others long or doesn't want to be with others in fear of his karma wreaking havoc on innocent bystanders.
Mindy is a bashful, shy ghost; Her personality can change depending on the person she meets.
Venti is a god who is unwilling to rule his own subjects and is thus the god of freedom . So of the original 7 archons , Venti was the weakest.
A Genshin Impact player has found a detail potentially proving that Lumine is the game's true main character. At the start of the game, players have the option to choose between Lumine and Aether to become their Traveler whose main quest is to find their lost sibling.
According to the Chinese, Japanese and Korean pronouns the twins use to address each other in the opening cutscene and in later interactions, Aether is the older twin and Lumine is the younger.
The twin is your main player character, but throughout the game, you'll be in control of a party of four. You'd also have the ability to switch between them on the fly during battle which can lead to some rapid-fire attack combinations and lets you chain different elemental effects.
