Leia's ordeal. In the rough draft of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, Darth Vader tortures Princess Leia with powerful electroshocks. In the incarnation of the second draft of A New Hope, Leia is replaced by Deak Starkiller, the brother of Luke Starkiller (who would become Luke Skywalker in later drafts).
4. Princess Leia was brutally tortured. “First, it would inject the prisoner with a mentally disabling chemical that would decrease the pain threshold while also forcing the subject to remain conscious.
In the canon book Leia, Princess of Alderaan, Leia recounts how Vader tortured her for hours without mercy. Even when he knew she wasn't going to break. He would have killed her if he didn't think he needed her. After all, she was “part of the rebel alliance and a traitor!”
Vader believed that his and Padmé's child died when she did, so there was no reason for him to consider anything else.
Leia was given a mission by Bail Organa to recruit Obi-Wan Kenobi into the Alliance. En route to the planet Tatooine, Leia's ship was attacked by Imperial forces, and she was taken prisoner by Lord Darth Vader.
Yes. In the book 'Tatooine Ghost', Leia learns of Anakin's life prior to his evolution into the Darth Vader personae. This revelation leads her to forgive him. She even named her third child in memory of her father.
Darth Vader didn't learn he had a daughter until Return of the Jedi, when he stood before Emperor Palpatine. The Emperor's power probed Luke's mind, attempting to goad him to fall to the dark side, and he discovered Leia's existence.
Luke, Han, and Leia
She had encountered the Dark Lord of the Sith a handful of times during her political career, but her abiding memory of Vader was as her torturer on the Death Star. It wasn't until Bloodline that she began to truly understand Anakin Skywalker, in a situation where she too felt tempted.
It's well known that Star Wars lead characters Luke Skywalker and Princess (now General) Leia are brother and sister. The estranged siblings didn't know about their familial relationship until "Return of the Jedi." They even shared a passionate kiss in the previous movie, "The Empire Strikes Back."
During the iconic opening moments of Star Wars: A New Hope, Darth Vader has a tense confrontation with Princess Leia, an adversary who, unknown to him, is actually his daughter. Despite participating in Leia's interrogation, the Sith Lord doesn't uncover his familial connection with the rebellious royal.
Over the years since the Youngling massacre, and even sometime before, Darth Vader has regretted killing the Younglings, recognizing that it was the most terrible thing he had ever done.
Yes he did. And the saddest thing is that there was nothing he could do about it. He was broken. The first case is shortly after ROTS when Vader was making his Sith lightsaber.
The experience and captivity truly was considered by Organa to be a hellish period of her life, and gave her nothing but pain, humiliation, and dark memories. Jabba once allowed a Bounty hunter to rape Leia, quite aggressively, the princess being traumatized by the ordeal.
For their heroism in destroying the Death Star, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker receive the Medal of Yavin from Leia Organa in a ceremony on Yavin 4. Decades later, Maz Kanata gives Chewbacca the medal once worn by Han, which Leia was holding when she died.
Leia does not seem to react to tragedy. Instead, she has this wonderful ability to stay perfectly alert, reasonable, and careful of the feelings of others. She witnessed the destruction of her entire planet, and still had the mental and emotional strength to escape with Luke and Obi-Wan.
Following the Wampa attack during the movie's opening scenes on Hoth; Leia, Han, and Chewie visit Luke in the infirmary. Leia is annoyed with Han, who insists she has feelings for him, so she kisses Luke to prove she doesn't. Presumably, the scene was simply meant to make Han jealous.
But then we learned Padmé passed away moments after giving birth to the twins. Therefore, how could Leia have had any memories of her birth mother? But when little Leia realized Obi-Wan had known her birth mother, he shared a story that not only made Leia's memories of Padmé plausible, it made them all the more moving.
Han Solo marries Princess Leia and they have three children: twins named Jacen and Jaina, and a younger son named Anakin. Luke reestablishes the Jedi Order, marries a non-movie (but fan favorite) redheaded Force-wielder named Mara Jade, and they have a son, Ben Skywalker (named in honor of Obi-Wan “Ben” Kenobi).
Vader agreed to help the handmaiden, silently recalling the time he spent with Padmé in the process. In this moment, he was once again Anakin Skywalker, a young man in love who simply wanted to change the world for the better.
While their affection had to remain hidden, the two kept in frequent contact, even throughout the Clone Wars. But despite this, Anakin found out that Padme was pregnant only a couple of weeks before the twins were born. So, why did it take so long for her to tell him?
In Legends, Luke and Leia do eventually discover their mother's identity during the Swarm War Trilogy.
Vader's Quest takes place before Star Wars #35 and is specifically set two months after A New Hope, giving it the most specific answer to when Darth Vader learned that Luke Skywalker is his son in the Star Wars franchise.
Conclusion. Anakin fulfilled all the requirements of the Chosen One, because his creator wrote him to fulfill the prophecy of the Chosen One. He wrote him to fulfill the Will of the Force, which said only that he would be born when the Force was out of balance to correct it.
He either didn't realize it was the same protocol droid or figured he'd been memory-wiped so FUNCTIONALLY wasn't the same droid and didn't care.
