In 2018, MJ is a victim of the Blip, before being restored to life in 2023. In 2024, MJ attends the school sponsored trip to Europe, where her affections are sought out by Parker and Brad Davis.
The film reveals that several more characters had been blipped and restored, including Peter's aunt May Parker, and his classmates Ned Leeds, MJ, Betty Brant, and Flash Thompson. Parker's teacher Roger Harrington complains that his wife had pretended to have been blipped in order to leave him.
In a cruel twist of fate, Peter and MJ were torn apart by their version of the MCU's famous "blip", which occurred after Thanos used the Infinity Gauntlet to kill half of the inhabitants of the universe, who then came back five years later.
Avengers: Endgame
While MJ is not directly shown in Avengers: Infinity War, she is among those killed by Thanos in the Snap. However, MJ was brought back to life when the Hulk undid the Snap in 2023.
Jones was a victim of the Snap in 2018, but along with all other victims, was resurrected in the Blip five years later. Her affections were sought out by Parker and Brad Davis during Midtown Tech's trip to Europe.
Imagine, Tony survived after End Game, he could have his own replicated Pym particles, had a time machine in his suit and even had access to each timeline in the multiverse. Dr. Strange believed if Tony Stark survived then sooner he will be the most powerful being in the universe.
The Blip, for the uninitiated, refers to the five-year period where Thanos snapped away half the universe. In the MCU, there is before the Blip and after, and Marvel projects have been struggling with the latter.
The set photo, which you can see shared below on social media, shows a date on a Church poster. 📸 | Set photo from 'DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN'. The year 2020 would mean only two years into The Blip. Which of course means that Matt Murdock himself was not Blipped.
We know already that the film will feature the survivors of Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap — among them Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Iron Man (Tony Stark), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) — enacting some kind of last-ditch plan to take back ...
Note that all the members of the original Avengers team — Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye — survived Thanos' attack. Presumably they will unite one last time in Avengers: Endgame to reverse the curse.
“Those of us who blipped away didn't age,” Jason helpfully states. Those who didn't blip away aged at a regular speed. Jason's once-younger brother, for instance, is technically older than him now.
On top of being implied by a “lingering sense of recognition” when Peter leaves the donut shop, the fact that MJ is still wearing Peter's broken Black Dahlia necklace at the end of the film seems to confirm she (subconsciously) remembers him.
After a few emotional goodbyes, Doctor Strange performs the spell and wipes all memories of Peter Parker from the main MCU universe. Spider-Man: No Way Home's ending shows Peter starting his new life where no one knows he is, including his girlfriend, Michelle Jones-Watson, and best friend, Ned Leeds.
Characters who survived the snap.
The newest additions here are Happy Hogan, Pepper Potts, and Wong who have all been featured in recent posters for the movie. Captain Marvel joins the list of survivors after she showed up in teasers for the film.
3 Shang-Chi And Katy Survived The Snap
Though there isn't much talk of whether Katy and Shang-Chi's lives were personally affected by the Snap, one thing that is clear is that the duo survived the Snap to live out those five years before the Blip.
After learning about the price he has to pay to fulfill his goal, Thanos starts crying and eventually throws Gamora off a cliff. Thanos thinks of Gamora as his true child, and by killing her, the Mad Titan is sacrificing everything he loves to fulfill his duty. And just like that, Gamora meets a devastating death.
According to a slew of internet rumors, the upcoming Disney+ MCU series Daredevil: Born Again will take place during the Blip. Details about the series have come in the typical MCU drips and drabs, but the Blip setting would make for an excellent story for Charlie Cox's Daredevil. Here's why.
Wilson Fisk survived the blip, but lost some of his control over the city in the process.
The main character, Matt Murdock (Daredevil), became blind after an incident involving a chemical spill when he was a child. The accident gave him superhuman senses and the ability to navigate the world in a different way.
Did blipped people age during the blip? Everyone who blipped did not age. Everyone who did not blip did. This is best seen exemplified by Peter's classmate, Brad Davis (Remy Hii).
The answer to this conundrum comes in an end-credits scene that reveals Fury is a Skrull. As the end-credits scene of Far From Home reveals, the real Fury is off-planet overseeing the construction of a massive space station.
Thanos is a Titan, and he watched his home world die due to a lack of natural resources. There were too many people, but not enough food to feed everyone. His solution was simple, fair and brutal: He would kill half the population by random drawing.
