In reality, the only animal large enough to swallow you whole without killing you first, or in the process, is a sperm whale. But even if you manage to dodge its teeth, your death certificate would still say 'chomped to death'.
A two-year-old boy was swallowed and spat out by a hippo while playing near his home in Uganda. Paul Iga was clenched in the mouth of the animal around 800 yards away from the edge of Lake Edward.
But there is another species—one that not only could get a human within its jaws, but could swallow him or her whole. It is a creature for which numerous terrifying interactions with humans are described, and a creature that frequents the Mediterranean Sea: the sperm whale.
"Once the animal was killed, DNA tests on the contents of its stomach revealed something even more terrifying: the elephant had consumed human flesh. According to zoologist Dave Salmoni, humans are to blame for the herbivore's shocking behaviour.
Well, if you were swallowed it would be very squishy and wet traveling down your girlfriend's esophagus and when you reached her stomach the acid would melt you. The stomach is lined with mucus to prevent the acid inside the stomach from burning a hole in you so you would be melted.
T. rex surely would have been able to eat people. There are fossil bite marks, matching the teeth of T. rex, on the bones of Triceratops and duck-billed dinosaurs such as Edmontosaurus, which were both over 50 times heavier than an average person.

Reticulated pythons are one of few snakes that grow big enough to be able to swallow a human. Once they've constricted their prey, their incredible jaw – which in a quirk of evolution features bones that are found in our inner ear – comes into play.
The huge animals can weigh up to 8,000 pounds, and their trunks, which have around 40,000 muscles in them, can be used to lift weights of 700 pounds. This means they are capable of inflicting serious injury.
A reasonably fit adult can lift about 80kg, so you'd need 75 people to lift a six tonne elephant. But a newborn elephant only weighs about 113kg, so if you do a bit of work in the gym, you might be able to lift one by yourself.
Their mouths are big enough to hold a human. If they dive with you in there, you could suffocate. A lobster diver that found himself in a whale's mouthOpens in new tab survived because he had scuba equipment to help him breathe. Two kayakers also ended up in a whale's mouthOpens in new tab.
Although the creature that swallowed Jonah is often depicted in art and culture as a whale, the Hebrew text uses the phrase dag gadol, which means "big fish".
It is reasonable to assume you could fit inside that big mouth, but thankfully their throat is much smaller, so even if you did manage to get yourself in the mouth of a basking shark it would not be able to swallow you.
Hippos have one tool in their arsenal and that is their sharp incisors and canines. Whether it is a human, a crocodile, or a lion, the hippo will use its sharp teeth to crush any opponent to death in one go. The mouth of the hippopotamus can open up to an angle of 150 degrees.
You can't outrun a hippo, but you must get out of their space. If the hippo gets ahold of you, the odds of surviving are slim. That's why the best thing you can do is get as far away as possible. So, when a hippo charges you, don't stop moving until you're somewhere safe.
However, a 2015 study by the Mammal Review shows hippos “occasionally” feed on animal carcasses, a more omnivorous behavior. Hippos are known to attack and eat animals like wildebeests, zebras and kudus, as well as other hippos in cases of cannibalism, according to AZ Animals. They also steal meat from other predators.
Lion will usually avoid adult elephant, and attack youngsters only if they have become separated from the herd. However, some prides have learned how to take down full-grown adults under dire circumstances when other food sources are scarce.
An elephant will either flip a lion over and then stomp it to death or use a tusk (if available) to impale the large cat. A lion is large, but it can't deal with 20 times its own weigh being pushed into its body by a rampaging beast. Multiple lions can kill an elephant, or a large lion can kill a young elephant.
Aside from humans, lions are the only predators powerful enough to kill an elephant. The males, being 50% heavier than the females, are especially suited to the task. It typically takes seven lionesses to kill an elephant, but just two males could do the same. DON'T MISS THE REST OF THIS STORY!
Due to their size, green anacondas are one of the few snakes capable of consuming a human, however this is extremely rare.
Besides, anacondas can't eat an entire, full-grown cow: the largest animal documented to have been consumed by a constrictor is a 130-pound (59-kilogram) impala, eaten by an African rock python in 1955.
Authorities in Indonesia were looking for a missing 54-year-old woman at her place of work when they stumbled across a 22-foot-long python that appeared unusually bloated. They killed and cut open the snake, and found the woman's body, whole and intact, inside the snake's stomach.
James Bartley (1870–1909) is the central figure in a late nineteenth-century story according to which he was swallowed whole by a sperm whale. He was found still living days later in the stomach of the whale, which was dead from harpooning.
They attack in an ambush, wrapping themselves around their prey and crushing it - squeezing tighter as the victim exhales. They kill by suffocation or cardiac arrest within minutes. Pythons swallow their food whole.
In that unlikely event, you would suffocate or die of your injuries prior to being consumed, ie, bleeding. But there are very, very few sharks big enough to swallow a human whole, and predation events on humans are very rare.
