We all give and receive love in 5 different ways: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch. These are called 'love languages' - a concept created by Dr. Gary Chapman through his long-time work as a marriage counsellor.
The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate is a 1992 book by Gary Chapman. It outlines five general ways that romantic partners express and experience love, which Chapman calls "love languages". They are acts of service, gift-giving, physical touch, quality time, and words of affirmation.
Acts of service is the rarest form of love language.
People who thrive off this love language will feel most loved when their partner does something for them, (preferably without being asked). This could be tidying their space, cooking a meal, running errands or anything that takes a task out of their time.
Physical attraction, sexual compatibility, empathy, and emotional connection are key to making a man fall in love with a woman.
Passionate love feels like instant attraction with a bit of nervousness. It's the "feeling of butterflies in your stomach,"Lewandowski says. "It's an intense feeling of joy, that can also feel a bit unsure because it feels so strong."
1. Never invalidate or erase the personal reality of someone you love.
Our golden rule for couples is: “Do unto others as they would have you do unto them.” Instead of treating our partner as we would like to be treated, we need to treat them as they want to be treated.
Respect each other and each other's desire for privacy. Be tolerant. Be patient; it is foolish to fuss over small things. Never let the sun set on your anger.
He touches you often
Does he tend to pat your hand or arm when talking? The more he touches you, the more he loves you. Men probably tend to touch you unobtrusively and non-sexually if they're into you. A simple touch can convey a more striking and direct message than many words.
He will pay attention to your wants and needs and make an effort to give it to you. He listens to your requests, tries to accommodate your wishes, and does things you say will make you happy. And he does it happily because he wants to make you happy.
For example, he holds your hand, has his arms around you, hugs you, always sit close to you, etc. 2- He puts a lot of efforts to make you feel loved. He brings random gifts for you, sings a song for you on a special day, makes time to talk to you anyhow, makes sudden plans, etc. 3- He always listens to you properly.
Signs of an obsessive lover
* Feeling of “ownership” over another person. Feeling extremely jealous if they interact with other people. * Having extremely strong feelings towards the other person even without having spent much time with them.
Men love women who are thoughtful, caring, loving and kind. A woman who does little things for her man for no other reason other than that she loves him. A woman who makes him smile back whenever she smiles at him. A woman who radiates love and warmth from her heart.
Little things such as hand holding and snuggling can make a man feel connected to a woman. Important things like believing in his dreams and accepting him the way he is will also make him feel connected. Praise him, show gratitude, respect and shower words of affirmation to make him feel connected.
Men – especially those 45 and over – are much more likely than women to name physical touch as the top way they prefer to receive love.
Maintaining close physical contact
If a man wants to show that he loves you, he will always want to stay close to you. However, when it comes to how do guys express their feelings, you will notice that they maintain physical proximity with you. He might hold your hand, hug you or wrap his arm around you.
Italian is widely considered as one of the world's most romantic languages. This is due to the history and culture of the Italian language combined with its easily recognizable rhythm. Italian is another Romance language that evolved from Latin. It has a long history of beautifully written poetry, prose, and opera.
