While most fans are familiar with the six stones that make up the Infinity Gauntlet, few may know about the seventh Stone, the Ego Gem. This elusive Stone has played a significant role in several comic book storylines, and its powers are just as potent as those of its counterparts.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Infinity Gems are referred to as the Infinity Stones, which are the Space Stone, the Reality Stone, the Power Stone, the Mind Stone, the Time Stone, and the Soul Stone.
There are six Infinity Stones: The Space Stone (blue), the Reality Stone (red), the Power Stone (purple), the Mind Stone (yellow), the Time Stone (green) and the Soul Stone (orange).

However, while each Infinity Stone can accomplish amazing feats and displays of power, the Soul Stone has a strong case for being the most powerful of the six.
Ego Stone (White): The Ego Gem contains the consciousness of the cosmic entity Nemesis and recreates her when united with the other six Gems. The Ego Gem is found in the Ultraverse when the Asgardian god Loki attempts to steal the other six Gems.
Thanos obtained the first stone, the Power Stone, by defeating the Nova Corps, law enforcement for the galaxy, on the planet Xandar and claiming it for himself. The Power Stone is an immensely powerful artifact that grants its wielder immense strength and energy manipulation abilities.
