The GI tract is the pathway food takes from your mouth, through the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine. In the GI tract, nutrients and water from foods are absorbed to help keep your body healthy.

Excretion (Elimination) The last stage of digestion is the elimination or excretion. In the elimination phase, undigested food or food molecules that cannot be absorbed by the body need to be excreted.
Digestive system of Humans
The digestive tract of humans starts with the mouth and ends with the anus. It includes different structures such as the mouth, oesophagus, pancreas, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gall bladder, and anus.

The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs, each about the size of a fist. They are located just below the rib cage, one on each side of your spine. Healthy kidneys filter about a half cup of blood every minute, removing wastes and extra water to make urine.
Large intestine.
Waste products from the digestive process include undigested parts of food, fluid, and older cells from the lining of your GI tract. The large intestine absorbs water and changes the waste from liquid into stool. Peristalsis helps move the stool into your rectum.
Your teeth are part of your digestive system. They break down foods by crushing or cutting them before you swallow. Most humans have 32 teeth, although some have more and some have fewer.
Explanation: The majority of the water ejected from the body is collected by small intestine. Water absorption is mostly regulated by the small intestine. The small intestine receives six to seven liters of fluid each day as secretions from the liver and the small intestine itself.
Bile is a fluid that is made and released by the liver and stored in the gallbladder.
