The Trix are the main antagonists of Winx Club. They are known as the "Senior Witches", or more commonly, just "The Witches", in the English version. They consist of three young witches named Icy, Darcy and Stormy.
It's the job of the Winx Club to stop this trio of villainous sisters from destroying the Magic Dimension with their wicked ways. Icy is the chilly leader of the Trix, who will stop at nothing to destroy Bloom and rule the universe. Her followers, Darcy and Stormy, are no better.

Sky (Danny Griffin), Bloom's love interest, grew up thinking that his father, Andreas, had perished in battle. He was raised by Silva, Andreas' best friend. Their relationship takes a turn in the finale when Sky learns that it was actually Silva who killed his father.
The women in Flora's family seem to be named after an aspect from the natural world. Her aunt Rose is named after a flower, her cousin Terra's name means "earth" in Latin, and Flora's own name means "flower" in Latin.
Terra is an earth fairy, trying desperately to fit in. Musa is a mind fairy determined to shut everyone else out. And finally there's Stella, a light fairy who's trying to live up to her mother's expectations.
Musa (except in the 4Kids dub), Flora, and Tecna are the only Winx Club members who are not princesses.
Stormy is the youngest of the Trix. Her powers involve lightning, storm, and weather.
Despite it all, Musa and Riven are seen as friends in Season 2, after Riven had properly redeemed himself, and later become a couple by the season finale after Musa kisses him while under the impression that she had lost him to Lord Darkar's attack.
