Your growing uterus is pulling and straining the muscles that support it. You may feel sharp pains or just a mild pulling sensation. It often occurs when you cough, sneeze, stand up, sit down, roll over, or during sex.
Quickening is when a pregnant person starts to feel their baby's movement in their uterus (womb). It feels like flutters, bubbles or tiny pulses. Quickening happens around 16 to 20 weeks in pregnancy, but some people may feel it sooner or later. Appointments 216.444.6601. Request an Appointment.

Implantation cramps feel similar to menstrual cramps, though they're usually milder. You might feel a light twinge or prickling, or the pain may feel dull and achy. These cramps happen when a fertilized egg nestles into the lining of your uterus, and they can last for a few days.
within 24 hours of ovulation, the egg is fertilised by sperm if you have had sex in the last few days without using contraception. about 5 to 6 days after ovulation, the fertilised egg burrows into the lining of the womb – this is called implantation. you're now pregnant.
You may feel very tired and have nausea, breasts that feel tender or sore, and heightened sensitivity to smell. You may also notice light spotting (from implantation bleeding). Other common early pregnancy symptoms include mood swings, frequent urination, bloating, food aversions, and excess saliva.

Week 1 pregnant belly
There won't really be a baby bump during the first week of your pregnancy, or really, for the next few weeks. Since you'll be menstruating during this week, it is possible that hormonal changes might make you feel a bit bloated due to fluid retention.
Women who experience implantation cramps have described them as a prickling, pulling or tingling feeling. You can also differentiate between the two based on timing. Typically, implantation (and any associated cramping), occurs: Six to 12 days after ovulation (the same time when you'd expect to get your period)
Implantation cramps are commonly felt in the same location as menstruation cramps. Not everyone feels cramping during implantation. Those who do may detect implantation cramping in their lower abdomen or lower back. Sometimes, implantation cramps only manifest on one side of the body.
Although a positive pregnancy test is possible during implantation bleeding, it's still very early and your hCG levels are usually very low at this point. You're more likely to get an accurate test result if you wait until your implantation bleeding stops and after your first missed period.
Early pregnancy bloating and normal bloating feel exactly the same. Your pregnancy bloating may feel slightly more uncomfortable due to the additional symptoms and increased amounts of gas which can worsen gas pains.
