Queen is the most-played rock band on radio around the world, and the fourth most-played artist across all genres, analytics service Viberate reported.
Queen have been crowned the greatest rock band according to a new poll. A study, conducted by Betfair, asked Brits to chose their favourite band ever and the Bohemian Rhapsody rockers made it out on top, even beating The Beatles to take the title.

If you were to add in their solo albums and side groups, they'll hold that record forever. They started young and led the British Invasion of pop and rock into the USA, and their fans grew up alongside them, purchasing each album as time went on.
Currently, the South Korean boy band BTS is the biggest group at the moment. As of the week of July 24th, 2021, they are number one in the Billboard Artist 100 and have remained on the chart for an incredible 249 weeks.
Top-selling artists worldwide as of 2022. Perhaps unsurprisingly, British rock band The Beatles are top of the list for best-selling artists worldwide, with 183 million units certified sales. Second is Garth Brooks with over 157 million units sales, followed by Elvis Presley with 139 million units.
BTS. K-pop boy band BTS has one of the most dedicated fan groups, known as the A.R.M.Y., which stands for “Adorable Representative MC for Youth.” They will not only support fellow fans, but they also will buy BTS concert tickets within minutes after going on sale.
BTS currently holds the record for most consecutive weeks at number one with 180. Justin Bieber has spent 163 weeks at number one on the Billboard Social 50. Taylor Swift have spent 28 weeks at number one, the most by any female artist.
The Beatles have tallied the most No. 1 hits in the 61-year history of the Hot 100, with 20. Their closest competitor is Mariah Carey, with 18. They, too, are tops on the albums front: The band's 19 No.
"Old Town Road" holds the record for the longest stretch at No. 1 with 19 weeks.
'Blinding Lights' by The Weeknd was the most played song on Australian radio in 2020. AirCheck released the figures today showing 'Blinding Lights' in the top spot with 30,006 spins.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, George Gershwin's jazz standard "Summertime" is considered to be the most recorded song, with at least 67,591 recorded versions in existence.
“I would say that Led Zeppelin are the greatest, and as a rock band they deserved the kind of success they got,” said Mercury. “Robert Plant is one of the most original vocalists of our time. He was always my favourite singer. And he's said nice things about me.”
We also know her favourite cocktail is a little unconventional, and now we've been given a glimpse of her music tastes too: HRH is apparently a huge jazz fan, with a soft spot for American jazz singer Duke Ellington.
Elvis Presley (USA) is the best-selling solo artist, with 1 billion sales worldwide (129.5 million in the USA).
BTS was inducted into the Guinness World Records 2022 Hall of Fame in September 2021.
