White. This color is associated with cleanliness and perfection. It is always a safe choice for a shirt or scarf, but too much white denotes timidity and sterility—not good for workplace relations.
Tip: Stay away from flesh-toned or pastel colours. The lack of depth in these hues will wash you out, so pick a more vibrant or deeper shade to create that much needed contrast. Also be careful with wearing black tops, as it can often be too heavy to carry on a regular basis.
The underlying premise of the three colour rule is to not combine more than three colours in your outfit at any one time. The exception being black and white, which are technically not 'colours' but tones, and can be intermixed as a fourth colour in your outfit.

If your skin is light enough that you can see your veins, look at whether they appear blue or green under your skin. Wearing your whites beyond Labor Day was just, well… showing off. Wearing white was a sign of wealth. Some historians believe that this rule was actually a way for the wealthy to separate themselves from the working class.
The old-fashioned decree bans us from wearing white during the winter and spring, from Labor Day in September till May Day (another day designated to celebrate workers' rights). One popular theory dates back to the early 1900s.
Three is a good maximum number for bright colors in an outfit. Prefer to wear little flashes of bright colors rather than big color blocks next to each other. – one bright green bag + bright yellow shoes + bright red lipstick and nailpolish + pale blue jean + a white blouse = classy!
It may be caused by reduced blood flow and oxygen or by a decreased number of red blood cells. It can be a manifestation of emotions such as fear (“pale as a ghost”), or it can be a symptom of serious medical conditions such as severe anemia, bloodstream infection, or frostbite.
Sorting laundry loads
It's very important to wash your lights and darks laundry separately, as darker dyes can ruin lighter fabrics. Sort your greys, blacks, navies, reds, dark purples and similar colours into one load, and your pinks, lavenders, light blues, light greens and yellows into another laundry.
The best outfits for pale skin often rely on colors like emerald green, navy and bold shades of blue. If you like to incorporate watches or other pieces of jewelry into your outfit, choose cool metals like platinum or silver rather than gold or copper.
Blue. Blue is perhaps the best color for your bedroom. Not only is it more muted, but blue tones also tend to have more calming effects on the brain, as shown in a 2018 study of blue walls in a university residence hall.
Green: These foods are rich in cancer-blocking chemicals like sulforaphane, isocyanate, and indoles, which inhibit the action of carcinogens (cancer-causing compounds).
Green means lots of heart-protective potassium and vitamin K, which aids the blood clotting process. Green fruits and veggies also help to maintain vision health and strong bones and teeth. Dark green, leafy vegetables have the highest concentration of antioxidants and fiber.
Most people would wear white and light colors during the summer to stay cool. When the fall came, people would shift to black and darker colors to stay warm. Because Labor Day often marked the end of the hot summer months, people simply stopped wearing white too much after this day and so the “rule” emerged.
How long after Labor Day can you wear white? The rule states that after Labor Day, white should be retired from your wardrobe. Then once Memorial Day rolls around in May, the gates are re-opened.
Solution: We prefer white clothes in summer because white clothes reflect most of the sun's heat and absorb very little of the sun's heat and keeps our body cool. We prefer to wear black or dark coloured clothes in winter as dark clothes absorb most of the sun's heat and keep our body warm.
You can use hydrogen peroxide to whiten and brighten clothes, disinfect laundry, and remove stains. Pour it directly on stains such as blood. Add one cup of hydrogen peroxide to whites in the washing machine to brighten them. Add one cup to a load of diapers to whiten, deodorize, and disinfect.

Red and orange seem to be the clear winner when it comes to eye-catching colors. These colors tend to stand out and are therefore used on many warning signs or safety equipment. Yellow is another color that comes in a close second to red and orange in popularity.
White does amazing things for all colors. It multiplies the intensity of any shade and makes it stand out that much more.
Bright, bold and vibrant colors work best. However, any color that contrasts with your background will serve you well. Shades of yellow, orange, red, green, purple and blue are all excellent color choices to grab a user's attention.
