Avoid clear bright colors, pure white and black which will make you look tired and faded.
If you're cool-toned: Choose jewel tones: shades of blue, pinks, purples, blue-greens, magentas, blue-based reds, or pure whites. If you're warm-toned: Choose earth tones: yellows, oranges, browns, chartreuses, army and deep greens, orange-based reds, or ivory.
The colors of the lower Chakras are best to wear when you feel tired: Red, which is the color of the Root Chakra, Orange, the color of the Sacral Chakra, and Yellow which is the color of the Solar-Plexus Chakra. You can wear any shades of these colors: pink, dark red, coral, gold, peach.
Mistake #4: You overdo the eyeliner.
If you wear too much, you eyes can appear smaller and more tired. Plus, deep black liners can exaggerate bloodshot eyes if you are actually lacking sleep.
Traditional black or brown eyeliners, when applied to your waterline, can make your eyes look smaller, which will actually amplify any tired look you already have. Instead, do your eyeliner normally on the top lid, but use white or nude eyeliner to rim the bottom waterline.
Our blood volume lowers, meaning we don't get as much blood to our brains and our heart has to pump faster. While our body is working overtime, the blood (and colour) is diverted away from places that don't need it, like our faces, causing us to look ultra-drained.
Line your eyes with three different eyeliners.
Instead, use black liner for your top lid, a lighter brown for your bottom lid, and nude liner for your water line. It'll make your eyes look wide-awake.
When it comes to visible light, the highest frequency color, which is violet, also has the most energy. The lowest frequency of visible light, which is red, has the least energy.
COLORS FOR ENERGY
While yellow is the best energizing color for most people, there is no one color that has exactly the same effect on everyone. A lot of it depends on your personality-whether you're an introvert or an extrovert. Introverts benefit most from colors that excite-warm hues of yellows, oranges, and reds.
Purple, gray, brown, black, and red are the worst colors for sleep. Gray, brown, and black promotes negative emotions, while purple and red boost alertness. Individuals with these bedroom colors are more likely to sleep less than 7 hours each night.
Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate
Dehydrated skin is tired, dull-looking skin… and you can help fix this issue from the inside out. When you wake up to a face that doesn't look like it wants to wake up with you, drink a glass of water to get things moving along.
Choosing a radiant, dewy base rather than matte coverage can help your skin look instantly more awake. “Tired, dehydrated skin loves dewy coverage” explains Maryam. Choose a skincare-makeup hybrid packed full of skin-loving ingredients, such as BFF De-Stress, to help give your skin a boost.
The first and most common reason for tired skin is lack of sleep. It usually occurs because of this habit: staying up late—whether playing gadgets or games, watching movies, or any other activities that make you lose track of time. Well, this is where your skin problems will start to emerge.
Wear a Bright Lip Color
Both Irwin and Lo agree that swiping on a bright lip color immediately helps you look more awake “Adding color to the lips also adds vibrancy to your face and takes the focus away from your tired skin and eye areas,” says Lo.
It seems that many of the colloquial cues, such as droopy/hanging eyelids, red eyes, dark circles under the eyes, and pale skin, are indicative of both sleep deprivation and looking fatigued.
Puffy eyelids, under-eye bags, and dark circles under the eyes are the tell-tale signs of tired eyes. You can immediately tell if someone's been crying, exhausted, or up all night by looking at their eyes. However, lack of sleep and fatigue aren't the only reasons why your eyes may look weary.
Concealer that's too dark or too light for your face will inevitably make you look tired. The fix: Apply it in a well-lit room to make sure that it looks natural. And whenever you test a new product, use a hand mirror to see how it looks in different rooms with varied lighting.
Avoid dark colours
Opt for lighter cream eyeshadow shades, such as champagne and cream, as well as soft shimmers to help bring your eyes to life. Highlighter will help too.
