The blue quadrant is for unpleasant, low energy feelings like disappointment, sadness, discouragement, hopelessness, and loneliness.
Black: Power, sexuality, sophistication, formality, elegance, wealth, mystery, fear, evil, unhappiness, depth, style, evil, sadness, remorse, anger, anonymity, underground, good technical color, mourning, death (Western cultures).
Sadness. “Gray” was the most frequent color indicated for sadness, followed by “indigo” and then “black” (Figure 1). The intensities for all three colors were moderate (Table 2).
BLUE. Intellectual. Positive: Intelligence, communication, trust, efficiency, serenity, duty, logic, coolness, reflection, calm. Negative: Coldness, aloofness, lack of emotion, unfriendliness.
Green – represents hope, joy, optimism, and love. It can also symbolize the country's prosperity.
Yellow was most often associated with a normal mood and grey with an anxious or depressed mood. Different shades of the same color had completely different positive or negative connotations.
Blue Colors
Known as one of the sad colors, blue also creates negative feelings, feelings of melancholy, sadness, self-righteousness, and self-centeredness. Too little blue can also create negative feelings and evokes suspicion, depression, stubbornness, timidity, and unreliability.
In Europe and America, grey is the color most associated with boredom, loneliness and emptiness.
Each of the colors has a very specific purpose and is meant to convey a specific meaning. These three colors convey a powerful message: “Black for the people, red for their struggle, and green for the future and hope that comes from their struggle.” Green is used to symbolize the land of Africa and hope.

This is another most used heart emoji. Use it to give your partner a hard time if they've disappointed you. But try not using a broken heart emoji if you wish to truly express a broken heart or expectations that weren't met.
Sad colors—gray, brown, beige and dark blue.
Symptoms: If you're feeling blue, symptoms will include feelings of sadness, lack of sleep, or loss of appetite. Depression has these symptoms and more, including prolonged insomnia, significant weight loss or gain, and extreme fatigue or disinterest in regular activities.
According to color psychologists, the most stressful and anxiety-inducing color is 'red'. Red room ideas can be too intense for some people – could your red decor be one of the reasons why your friends hate your house? It reminds us of danger and is a color that makes you angry.
Yellow Is Energetic
It can seem fresh, intense, overwhelming, or even brash and forceful in its energy.
The majority of participants chose red to describe high-intensity pain; the reasons given were because red symbolized inflammation, fire, anger and the stop signal in a traffic light system.
The colour red is often used to mark mistakes in a school environment, which evokes or further strengthens the association between red and failure.
For instance, red shades tend to trigger your stress response, making you more anxious, while lighter shades calm you down. If you are feeling overly stressed, you can use color as a stress management tool.
In terms of negatives, Burnt Orange is used to describe childishness, pride, and stubbornness.
The color gray is an unemotional color making it feel neutral, disinterested or impartial. Depression: Gray can stifle and depress energy, but it is also the stable base from which the new and positive can come.
Black is a primary color across all models of color space. In Western culture, it is considered a negative color and usually symbolizes death, grief, or evil but also depression.
Green is the color used for awareness in mental health. It is a symbol for mental illnesses, bipolar disorder and depression. Green symbolizes the continual awareness of mental health in order to help fight the stigma that is often associated it.
Each one is colored uniquely (e.g., anger is “red”, fear is “purple”, and disgust is “green”).
The color gray appears when the person is afraid, anxious or feeling exhausted.
In color psychology, grey represents neutrality and balance. Its color meaning likely comes from being the shade between white and black. However, grey does carry some negative connotations, particularly when it comes to depression and loss. Its absence of color makes it dull.
