The baby that Niles and Daphne have at the end of the show is not a result of a real life pregnancy of Jane Leeves, the actress who plays Daphne. However, she was pregnant earlier in the show. In season 8 the actress got pregnant and it was simply written into the show as a weight gain.

Like Francesca, the first season of the Netflix show doesn't really focus on Gregory because of his young age. But according to Julia's eighth book, On the Way to the Wedding, when Gregory is of age, he will follow his siblings' footsteps and find his match.
Theo is a brand new character made for the TV show and probably to give Eloise more of a storyline this season. According to the novel, To Sir Phillip, With Love, she actually ends up marrying Sir Phillip Crane.

As the first Bridgerton sibling to be married off, Daphne sets the bar quite high when it comes to finding a spouse. Simon Hastings is handsome, clever, and incredibly wealthy, but more importantly, he truly loves his wife.
Page's Duke of Hastings, who married Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) in the first season, would have been a background player at best in the second. Page opted to pursue his burgeoning movie career and (minor spoiler alert) does not appear at all in season 2, which debuts March 25.
