Call return (*69) automatically dials your last incoming call, whether the call was answered, unanswered or busy.
Australia: *10# for Telstra services or *69 on Optus HFC Telephony network. This only allows one to return the last unanswered call, and can cost 35 cents per use.
Common “star codes”
*67 - Block phone number on Caller ID systems. *69 - Redial the last number that called you. *70 - Places your call on hold so you can answer another. *72 - Forward your call to another phone number.
This Vertical Service Code, *82, enables calling line identification regardless of subscriber preference, dialed to unblock withheld numbers (private callers) in the U.S. on a per-call basis.

The first one is *69, which traces the number of the last person who called you. It works even for anonymous or hidden calls, so you can get the phone number and the exact time they called. Once you have that hidden phone number, you can block it on your phone, so it can't call you anymore.

If you want to keep your privacy and prevent others from knowing when you call them, you can disable caller ID by using this code.
Anonymous Call Rejection (*77) stops calls from people that use a blocking feature to keep their name or number from being displayed. When Anonymous Call Rejection is turned on, callers will hear a message telling them to hang up, turn off the blocking feature, and call again.
*97. Pick up a call for another user in the same group. Lift the telephone handset, press the speaker button, or the headset button.

Star 69 refers to "last-call return," the Calling Feature Vertical service code *69 keyed on a landline telephone set in order to return the call of the last one to ring (in Canada and the United States).
*57 is a call tracing service offered by most phone companies. It allows you to easily trace calls made to your phone number. Essentially, *57 records the calling number and other identifying information such as the date and time of the call.
To block caller ID for an individual call, dial 1831 (or #31# from a mobile) then the number you are calling. Generally, this will make sure the person you are calling will not see your number.
Use the *69 code to trace unknown numbers
Here's how to find an unknown caller with the *69 code: Dial *69 into your phone's keypad. If the service doesn't auto-activate, press the call button. An automated recording will tell you the last number that called you along with any other available caller ID information.
Unfortunately, providers cannot tell you the name of an unknown caller. Otherwise, user privacy and legitimate callers could get violated. Whether you call your cellphone provider or your landline provider, you can't get this information from a carrier because they also do not track unknown callers.

This calling feature allows you to block up to 30 phone numbers. You can add the numbers you wish to block from your phone. You can also block the last number that called you, even if it's private.
Dialing ##002# deactivates any conditional or unconditional call forwarding settings on your account and also deletes any data such as messages or voicemails that were previously diverted to another number. This code only applies to phones on GSM networks such as AT&T or T-mobile.
The *#9900# code is a diagnostic mode code for Samsung mobile devices. It can be used to access a variety of system information and diagnostic tools, such as enabling/disabling fast dormancy, logging options, and system dump mode.
What does dialing *#21# actually do? When you dial *#21#, you are, in fact, activating a feature access code that quickly tells you the status of call forwarding for your phone. It's a quick way of seeing what, in the case of this particular 'setting interrogation code,' your call forwarding settings.
Dialing *68 will disable the Caller ID for the next outbound / external call only. Selecting a line and dialing this feature code will result in a prompt on the phone display as well as an audible message: "Caller ID is BLOCKED for the next outbound call only."
