Hair Color Level 8
This level is the perfect light blonde range acting as the best base to see most of our colors turn out dynamically. Most Paradyes colors will turn out precisely and vividly on a level 8 base.
— Purple shampoo is for levels 8-10 and blue is for levels 7-8. Although you can definitely use either you are just going to get different results. Think of a color wheel. Red, Blue, and Yellow…
If your hair is at level 7 or level 8, you can get away without bleach. But use either an intense toner if you want to do a full blonde makeover. Or Blondify Natural Ash Blonde toner if you wish to tone highlights without lifting the base.
At a level 8 yellow, the recommended neutralizing tone is violet: Whereas at a level 7, only one level darker, the recommended corrective tone for the yellow-orange underlying pigment is a blue-violet: This visually explains why it is so important to tone on-level.
Level 8 Hair
You probably remember this from your cosmetology classes. When hair is at level 9 and 10, this undercoat is pale yellow. But when it is level 8, the undercoat is more of a brassy, orangeish yellow. And of course, when it is darker than that, it's even more brassy, almost copper-orange.
Do not use a level 9 toner over level 8 hair. Level 8 is comprised of Gold = yellow AND orange.
8A grade hair is a premium grade 100% virgin unprocessed human remy hair with full cuticle laying in the direction of growth and a very strong hair shaft. With proper care, 8A hair bundles can last up to 2 years. It can be coloured up to a light blonde colour and remain in good health.
The higher quality hair you want, the higher a grade you should look out for to start. If you're looking for a true budget option but still want some quality, you should start at 6A. If you're looking for 100% virgin hair, don't look for anything less than grades 8A or 9A.
Grade 8A and 9A
This is 100% human virgin hair. Virgin hair means that the hair has not been processed in any way. This hair won't tangle as much as other types and you'll find it's easier to maintain. You'll notice that the higher quality is reflected in a higher price tag.
DON'T use purple shampoo on very dry hair
It's important to get the hair into a healthy condition before drenching it in purple shampoo to make it less porous.
There's two reasons why your hair is still brassy after toning or colouring. Either the undertone of the toner/colour is wrong, or the product is too light for you.
Hair Coloring Levels 8 Through 10
8 is going to be a light blonde. This is the color that people think of when they think of blonde. It's a pale yellow that still has a hint of brown. 9 is a light blonde while 10 is the lightest blonde (or platinum).
WHAT DO THE NUMBERS MEAN? The first number of a shade always relates to the base colour. The higher the number, the lighter the base colour will be e.g. 1.0 is deep black and 9.0 is a light blonde. The second number of the shade is always related to the reflect.
The number 8 haircut is usually the highest of all clipper lengths in haircut numbers. The hair it leaves is an inch long, so you can use it to trim the top while getting the sides faded with the help of a lower hair clipper size.
Grade 10A hair is made entirely of natural human hair. Because no short hair is mixed in with the hair bundles, all hair strands are the same length. It's durable enough to dye even white colors that require a lot of bleach. This extension is the most costly and high-quality hair in all hair grade charts.
Better hair has higher hair grades
Your hair's quality can go from 6A, 7A, 8A, to the higher scale 9A, 10A, 11A virgin hair. Better hair has higher grades. The hair's origin, thickness, fullness, and longevity are all factors to consider when grading hair bundles. The highest level is raw hair and virgin human hair.
Is there Grade 12A hair? Grade 12A hair is just a way to say that their hair is superior to lower-grade hair, but it doesn't really exist. Graded human hair means nothing. It's basically just a way for sellers to be able to say their product is better than others.
Simple clipper cuts are also often referred to using numbers. These refer to the guard length used on the blades and therefore the subsequent hair length created. #1 – 3.4mm, #2 – 6.4mm, #3 – 9.5mm, #4 – 12.7mm, #7 – 22.2mm, #8 – 25.4mm.
9A Grade Virgin Hair
In addition to having all the qualities of 8A, this 100% virgin human also has the added benefit of being completely free of any chemical treatment. 9A is considered to be very high quality and can be straightened, curled, colored all the way to color 613.
