The scripture insists old age is one of God's gifts. Solomon wrote in another place, “The glory of the young is their strength; the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.” Every day is a gift from God, and the accumulation of days, months and years is the cumulative gift of God.
Ecclesiastes 11:9-10
Young people, enjoy your youth. Be happy while you are still young. Do what you want to do, and follow your heart's desire. But remember that God is going to judge you for whatever you do.
A glossator inserted a prosaic statement as to the usual duration of human life: In them are seventy, or if, by reason of extraordinary might, eighty years.
At the same time, God cares deeply about excellence and outward beauty. That God looks at the inner condition of our heart is not an excuse to neglect striving for outer excellence as well. We please God when we offer Him our best.

In Proverbs 31 we see character and integrity. A woman of honor, integrity, and virtue is priceless and rare. If you're a single man, you have the two most important decisions in your life: the Lord you serve and the Lady you marry.
