If someone has deleted the WhatsApp account and is no longer available on the app, there will be no profile picture, and a single tick appears next to the messages. The same is true if someone has blocked you on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp does not have a specific notification or way to let other people know that the account was deleted either.
Part 2: If I Uninstall WhatsApp, Will My Contacts Know? Many users are concerned if their visibility will be shown to their contacts if they uninstall WhatsApp. Uninstall: WhatsApp would not remove anyone from your contact list or your contact from your friends'.
It may take up to 90 days from the beginning of the deletion process to delete your WhatsApp information. Copies of your information may also remain after the 90 days in the backup storage that we use to recover in the event of a disaster, software error, or other data loss event.
Open WhatsApp. Go to Settings > Account > Delete My Account. Enter your phone number in full international format and tap Delete My Account.
Deleting the WhatsApp Account means completely erasing your details, messages, and phone number from WhatsApp. In this case, you won't be able to retrieve any of your old messages even if you had backed them up.
Recovering a deleted WhatsApp account is quite easy. All you need to do is re-register your WhatsApp account using the same mobile number.
When you uninstall WhatsApp, people can still send you messages. However, since the app isn't installed on your phone, you will not be notified about it. Only when you reinstall WhatsApp, you will receive those messages and missed call notifications.
Without a backup, you will keep your WhatsApp account, but you will be restarting the app from nothing when it comes to chat history. In turn, if you delete your WhatsApp account, all data associated with it will be lost.
WhatsApp Does Not Use Open Source Code
Zuckerburg didn't pay billions for the app. He paid for the data and intellectual property. This property is too valuable to be shared with everyone, so it is not open source. Additionally, when an app is an open source, it gets tested regularly by experts.
Part 1: What Does Uninstall WhatsApp Mean
If you uninstall WhatsApp from your mobile, people will still be able to send you messages. After installing the app again, you will be able to read those messages and get the missed call notifications. But if you delete your account, no one will be able to send you messages.
Step 1: Open the phone Settings and go to the apps. Step 2: From various applications, find and select WhatsApp. Step 3: Click on Force Stop.
Here's how to mute someone on WhatsApp:
You have the option of selecting as many as you wish. Step 4: Long tap the contact on Android and then click the [down arrow] at the top of the screen. Swipe to the left on iOS, or long touch the contact and select the archive option.
When you block someone on WhatsApp, you will stop receiving messages and calls from them. Even if they continue to send messages, they'll never show up on your phone. Likewise, your information — status updates, profile picture changes, and "last seen" timestamps — will no longer be visible to the person you blocked.
Unfortunately, there's no way you know if someone archived you on WhatsApp. They'll appear online, you can still send them messages, and nothing changes in your interaction, except that they may take longer to reply to your messages. That's because archives chats are placed in a hidden folder on WhatsApp.
