A person's physical body can be destroyed, but their soul can live on. So, when Voldemort's killing curse backfired after attempting to murder young Harry, his physical body was destroyed. However, since Voldemort had numerous other Horcruxes, he was not truly dead.
What happened to Voldemort immediately afterwards? His physical body was completely obliterated, along with a large section of the Potter's house. The mangled piece of his soul left in his body attached itself to the only living thing left nearby: Baby Harry.
Physically, Voldemort was annihilated. His body was completely destroyed. Metaphysically, his soul escaped destruction, and apparently lost at least some sense of who he was, because Voldemort's spirit vanished to Albania, where he roamed aimlessly for a decade.
Tom Riddle's Gravestone was the final resting place of Thomas, his wife Mary, and their son Tom Riddle Snr. The grave was located in the Little Hangleton graveyard near the centre of the graveyard and had a clear view of the Riddle House in the distance.
Quirrell didn't use the Killing Curse on Harry, because Voldemort said “use the boy” to get the Sorcerer's stone from the Mirror of Erised.
This theory suggests that each time he created a new Horcrux, that specific Horcrux diminished a part of his soul. Thus, his nose began to sink in, eventually disappearing altogether. Due to his tampering with dark magic, his human appearance evolved into a more snake-like state.
When Snape heard the prophecy and pleaded with Voldemort to spare Lily's life, he may have inadvertently caused his downfall. While we know Voldemort killed Lily, he did give her a choice. If she stepped aside and allowed him to murder Harry, he would spare her. Lily refused and sacrificed herself to save her son.
However, the prophecy went on to say that Voldemort would mark the child as his equal, choosing the boy that he believed would be the most dangerous to him. Dumbledore believes Voldemort chose Harry because Harry was a half-blood, just like Voldemort.
Wormtail was the Secret-Keeper of the Potter's house and because of this error the Dark Lord was able to break in and kill Lily and James. Once Voldemort left we know that Snape entered the house and cried over Lily's body.
Delphi was conceived from a liaison between Voldemort and Bellatrix. She was born at Malfoy Manor, shortly before the 1998 Battle of Hogwarts. As Bellatrix and Voldemort were both killed in the Battle and Bellatrix's husband Rodolphus was imprisoned at Azkaban, Delphi was raised by Euphemia Rowle, a Death Eater.
We can therefore presumably safely conclude that Lily was not noticeably pregnant at the time she died.
Delphini was likely imprisoned in Azkaban for the murder of Craig Bowker Jnr, as well as for the misuse of an unauthorised Time-Turner in a failed attempt to bring back her father and his evil reign.
Phoenix tears are not a cure all. They are a powerful healing agent for wounded flesh, poison, physical damage and disease. But Dumbledore's hand was not affected by any of these, it was affected by a powerful magical curse that was slowly and steadily spreading. Phoenix tears are not a counter spell.
Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
He used Naginis milk/venom to create the rudimentary body for himself and as such the body took on snake DNA and snake characteristics. Hence he had slits instead of a nose and his pupils were snakelike and face was snakelike.
While most fans agree that Harry is the unrefuted Chosen One, the final Deathly Hallows film (in particular) sways heavily toward highlighting a heroic Neville, revitalizing the debate regarding which boy is better suited for the iconic title. "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches ...
In a series of flashbacks, using the pensieve as a plot device, she reveals that Voldemort was the son of the witch Merope Gaunt and a Muggle called Tom Riddle. Riddle abandoned Merope before their child's birth, soon after which Merope died.
Voldemort wasn't aware of Harry being a pseudo-horcrux because he didn't plan it, and Harry didn't know either until Voldemort “killed” him, but he actually killed the piece of soul kept in him.
A Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Snape is hostile to Harry due to his resemblance to his father James Potter, who bullied Snape during their time together at Hogwarts. As the series progresses, Snape's character becomes more layered and enigmatic.
Snape loved Lily deeply: through their years at Hogwarts; through her marriage to another wizard, James Potter; through his time as a Death Eater; and long after her murder at the wand of Lord Voldemort.
Voldemort can not comprehend love, and so it destroys him to touch Harry because Lily's love for her son runs through Harry's veins and body. ems Harry burnt Quirrell's face when he touched it.
Bellatrix used a powerful "love potion" on Voldemort and they have sex while he is temporarily obsessed with her. She then uses obliviate on him while he sleeps (you know, he falls asleep after his post-sex cigarette) and tells everyone that the baby is her and her husband's.
It is perhaps interesting that Voldemort himself is not a pureblood; while his mother, Merope Gaunt, was a member of one of the oldest Wizarding familes in existence, his hated father was a “Mudblood”. In spite of this, he is still considered the heir of Salazar Slytherin.
