After the gods and the monsters and giants were all vanquished, Lif and Lifthrasir would worship the god Balder, son of Odin, who would rise up from the dead after Ragnarok to rule in a new heaven. Their progeny would repopulate the reborn Earth.
Afterward, the earth will rise again, the innocent Balder will return from the dead, and the hosts of the just will live in a hall roofed with gold.
Surviving gods
Hoenir, Magni, Modi, Njord, Vidar, Vali, and the daughter of Sol are all stated to survive Ragnarok. All of the remaining Æsir then reunite at Ithavllir. Baldr and Hod return from the underworld - Baldr having been killed by Hod, and Hod by Vali, before Ragnarok.
The Æsir gods Höðr and Balder, who had previously died and gone to Hel, are resurrected after the events of Ragnarök. It is prophesied that the Vanir god Njörðr, another Æsir hostage after the Æsir-Vanir War, will return 'home among the wise Vanir'.
After the gods were killed in Ragnarok, Thor set out to restore them to life... all except for Odin, who the God of Thunder decided not to resurrect.
In Norse mythology, Móði (Old Norse: [ˈmoːðe]; anglicized Módi or Mothi) and Magni [ˈmɑɣne] are the sons of Thor. Their names translate to "Wrath" and "Mighty," respectively.
Contrary to popular belief, entering Vahalla has not necessarily required individuals to die in battle. Odin died peacefully in Thor: Ragnarok and was still able to ascend to Valhalla.
We won't spoil anything, but once you finally reach the end, some of the credits will overlay the gameplay. Once these credits are done, you'll enter a post-game chapter called Beyond Ragnarok. In this phase of the game, you can freely travel between all the realms and explore them to your heart's content.
As Sony has made it clear, Ragnarok concludes the Norse story arc. This hypothetical epilogue could subsequently segue into the next phase of God of War games, where Atreus is the main character in which he (metaphorically and probably literally) takes over Kratos' Leviathan Axe and Chaos Blades.
Q: How will humanity emerge after Ragnarok? It appears that the only human survivors of Ragnarok are a woman and man called Life and Pulsing-With-Life. They will survive by consuming the morning dewdrops in an unknown place called Hoddmimir's Forest. The two will be responsible for repopulating the world with humans.
In Norse mythology, Lif and Lifthrasir (also spelled Life and Leifthrasir) were two people designated to be the sole human survivors after Ragnarok, the battle at the end of the world. In the battle of Ragnarok, all the gods were doomed to be destroyed, but the forces of evil would also be killed.
Odin is killed by Fenrir who is then killed by Odin's son Vidarr. Thor kills Jörmungandr but succumbs to the serpent's poison after taking only nine steps after the battle and falls dead.
Q. Who kills Tyr in Norse Mythology? A. In Norse Mythology, Tyr is predicted to kill and be murdered by Garm, Hel's guard dog, during Rangarök.
The next game will be an Atreus-led spinoff
He's on a mission to find the rest of the giants and the implication is that they're not in Midgard or any of the Nine Realms of the Norse mythology.
When Surtr struck his weapon into Asgard, the fires of Muspelheim spread throughout the tree and consumes the Nine Realms. In God of War Ragnarok, Surtr only destroyed Asgard and Yggdrasil survived and allowed Kratos and Freya to continue traveling to the other realms.
Today there are between 500 and 1000 people in Denmark who believe in the old Nordic religion and worship its ancient gods. Modern blót sacrifice. Modern believers in the old Nordic religion meet in the open air just as the Vikings did.
Zeus, however, weakened Kratos and tricked him into abandoning his godly powers into the Blade of Olympus, which Zeus used to kill Kratos. Although he overcame all obstacles, Kratos was stunned at Zeus's betrayal and swore revenge as he died.
This final mural has a pretty clear interpretation, that Kratos has finally been redeemed, and that he'll be revered by mortals for the god he is. Upon seeing this final panel, Kratos gets immediately emotional, clearly overwhelmed with the feeling that he's finally done something worthy of his title.
Can you see Atreus again after beating Ragnarok? Yes. In the post-game, if you return to Sindri's house and enter Atreus's old room, Kratos will ask Mimir if he did enough to prepare Atreus not just for battle, but for life and Atreus's romance with Angrboda.
God of War Ragnarok is a multi-dimensional game. It doesn't just have one ending. There is a second ending to the game that you can access right after completing the main ending. In the secret ending, you get to witness Brok's funeral and pay your respects to him before his body is set alight at sea.
What happened to Sindri in God of War Ragnarök? Shaped permanently by his grief and trauma over the loss of his brother Brok, Sindri smashes Odin's soul at the end of God of War Ragnarök and disappears.
Odin has pretty clearly been shown to be demonstrable more powerful than the other gods. Odin's Odinforce has far outstripped anything Zeus's magical lightning bolts have ever done.
To answer the question right away, Zeus and Odin are not the same, nor have they ever been thought to be the same entity at any point throughout history. Zeus is the king of the gods in Greek mythology, whilst Odin is the king in Norse mythology.
"Odin is not a separate entity inside Eivor; he is not a parasite trying to "take over." We have simply dramatized the friction between her human personality and the "previous Isu life" that is slowly revealed to her.
