Then Abi will get a hold of a shotgun, and you have the choice of shooting Nick or not. It is best to shoot Nick since he will not die and run, but not shooting will lead to Nick decapitating Abigail. The next time you see Nick, he is in a monster form in Chapter 8.
His first and only possible death can take place here, and it doesn't matter all the previous choices you have made through the whole story at this point. For example, he won't die if you shoot him as Abigail in Chapter 6. However, you should shoot him there because he'll kill Abi if not.
Regardless of if you do or don't, he'll continue dragging Nick. Nick bites the hunter's finger and manages to get free. The hunter shoots his finger off with a pistol and walks away from the scene. Following the encounter with the hunter, Ryan will help Nick back up to his feet and then take him back to camp.
Saving Abigail In Chapter Six
She will pick up the shotgun, and players will have a choice to make: to shoot Nick or not. For Abigail to survive this chapter, Nick must be shot. If he is not shot by Abigail, he will transform into a werewolf and decapitate her.
If Abigail helps Nick, she will lure the creature away from a wounded Nick and focus on Abi instead. Depending on which route the player is going for, Abigail may get bitten and infected if she fails the HOLD BREATH moment or gets caught by the werewolf.
Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent Max, Nick, or Laura from being infected. If you're curious as to when their infections occur, here's what chapter each bite takes place: Prologue - Max is bitten by werewolf Chris when exploring the Storm Shelter.
It's not a secret that Abigail has a crush on Nick and vice versa in The Quarry. Players can also make them lovers or keep them friends based on the chosen options. Problem is, both characters are shy, so it's a bit difficult for Abi and Nick to confess their feelings, let alone flirt with each other.
Max, Nick and Laura are the only protagonists who always get infected and turn into werewolves. Emma, Dylan, and Jacob are the only protagonists who can get infected and able to turn into werewolves. Abigail, Ryan, and Kaitlyn are the only protagonists who can get infected, but never turn into werewolves.
If Abigail is infected, she never transforms into a werewolf, yet shows super strength after pushing Bobby when he grabs her.
The group will watch him as he struggles, with Kaitlyn getting a choice: She can either go and help Nick or comfort Abi. Ultimately, the choice doesn't make any difference outside of appreciation from Abi or Nick, so pick whichever you feel fits your interpretation of Kaitlyn the best.
Since the lodge has a broken door, the other counselors can sneak in and hide without issue, which causes the monsters to focus on the hut instead. It is still possible to save Dylan if the monster bites his hand by using Ryan to amputate it before the infection spreads.
To save Silas, don't shoot him with Laura in the final chapter in his lair. This action causes Travis, Laura, and Ryan to die, and the infection will continue to spread through Hackett's Quarry. Saving him leads to you failing to complete the best « Rough Night » ending.
If Nick uses his rifle (which he automatically does if he did not obtain the crucifix), he can complete a QTE to shoot at The Ancient One, but this has no effect. If Nick uses the crucifix, he will show it to the Ancient One as the latter stares in confusion.
Abi needs to take the ladder and succeed at the quick-time event in order to survive. If the event is completed without Abi dying, then she will be safe and make it to the end of The Quarry. The Quarry is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, and PC.
It's no secret that The Quarry's Abigail and Nick have feelings for one another. Depending on the parameters selected, players can also make them lovers or keep them as friends. Due to their mutual shyness, Abi and Nick find it challenging to express their sentiments or even flirt with one another.
Ensuring Nick's survival alone, however, can be done with the decisions in the chapters mentioned below. There are also certain events that are tied to Nick's part of The Quarry that are unavoidable no matter what decisions are made prior, such as getting bitten by the werewolf in Chapter 3.
Laura Kearney
Although she has at least four potential deaths in Chapters 9 and 10, the awesome female horror game protagonist Laura's inextricable link with Ryan makes her survival more difficult than many.
If Constance wasn't killed in the exchange, Travis, Constance and Jedediah will bicker amongst themselves about Laura. Bobby will then bring Ryan up from the basement and we'll get a choice: run from Bobby or distract him to help Ryan? Both will result in the same outcome; it'll just change the order it happens.
Players can either jump in the water and swim, or they can choose to Stay. To keep Max alive, do NOT jump in the water. Walking through the forest guarantees Max's survival.
Abigail can only be infected in Chapter Three. After Nick is attacked, she has a variety of choices. Three moments can end up with her getting infected.
Silas' human form can only be glimpsed very briefly at the end of the game if Laura chooses to kill him. He is a boy with albinism, and short white hair. His albinism carries over in his werewolf form, causing his appearance as a werewolf to be much paler, earning him the nickname "The White Wolf".
Sadly, while Dylan is reaching for the cable, the werewolf bites his hand, thus infecting him. In a desperate state, Dylan tells Ryan to cut his hand as the infection is spreading too fast. Pick the DESPERATE dialogue option then choose the CHAINSAW to cut the hand.
Silas Vorez is the main antagonist of The Quarry. He is a unique werewolf that prowls the forest, attacking or infecting nearly anyone he comes across, also cursing others to become werewolves themselves.
Nick has an Australian accent. Director Will Byles did not know that Evan Evagora was Australian until they met. Byles then asked Evagora if he wanted to use his Australian accent as Nick, but Evagora was hesitant.
Everyone Who Always Gets Infected in The Quarry
In Chapter 3, Nick will always be attacked and bitten by Silas. Although players can choose to save or kill Nick in The Quarry, being bitten by Silas means that he can only be cured if Silas is killed by Laura at the end of the game.
