Tengen is one of the only known Demon Slayer and Hashira to retire due to being permanently disabled instead of death or age, the other being Jigoro Kuwajima. He and Inosuke Hashibira are the only known Demon Slayers who use two Nichirin Swords instead of one.
The first Hashira to retire from this was Jigoro Kuwajima, Zentisu's master and the former Thunder Hashira. While Tengen proved he could technically fight with one hand and eye, he opted to retire instead. Even though he retired, Tengen oversees the stamina portion of the Hashira Training along with his wives.
Tengen Uzui retired from the Demon Slayer Corps. However, he returns in chapter 132 (Hashira Training arc) to monitor and lend some help with some basic stamina training. Tanjiro trained under the Sound Hashira for 10 days and received his permission to go to Muichiro Tokito's quarters to train his body coordination.
Sakonji Urokodaki ( 鱗 うろこ 瀧 だき 左 さ 近 こん 次 じ , Urokodaki Sakonji?) is a retired member of the Demon Slayer Corps, having held the position of the previous Water Hashira ( 水 みず 柱 ばしら , Mizu Bashira?).
Jigoro was a former Hashira who practiced Thunder Breathing, which ended up giving him the title of "Roaring Hashira". Naturally, he was a very powerful demon slayer who successfully killed many demons. Unfortunately, he retired at the age of 35, when he lost his right leg in a fight with a demon.
A Tsuguko ( 継 つぐ 子 こ , Tsuguko?, lit. Successor) is an exceptionally talented combatant of the Demon Slayer Corps who is designated as the apprentice and eventual successor of one of the Hashira.
Yukire Hanazawa ( 花沢 はなざわ 雪 ゆき れ, Hanazawa Yukire?) is a Demon Slayer and the Ice Hashira ( 氷 こおり 柱 ばしら , Kōri Bashira?) of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength.
According to Zenitsu, Jigoro never gave up on him to make him stronger and a better swordsman. He took care of Zenitsu like he was his grandson, he saved Zenitsu many times and he has shown unlimited patience at training the boy despite his cowardless and laziness.
Even after losing his left hand to Gyutaro, Tengen was able to fight the Upper Rank on even terms due to completing his Musical Score, allowing him to deflect Gyutaro's attacks, cut off his arm and pin him down at the cost of losing his left eye.
i know, though, some believe he loves hina (21) the most, because he had the most interaction with her in the manga and they have the most “husband-and-wife” feel. we also have to remember that suma (19) was tengen's first chosen wife—they both personally agreed to letting hina and makio (20) into their relationship.
Tengen Uzui
Even though he is large and muscular, and uses that to his advantage, his fighting style relies more on aesthetics and flashiness. He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest.
1) Gyomei. Gyomei Himejima is the strongest Hashira in Demon Slayer. This fact has been established in the manga as Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu all agree that he is the strongest member of the Demon Slayer Corps. His strength was showcased during the fight against Kokushibo.
Yae ( 八 や 重 え , Yae?) is a young woman who joins Giyu Tomioka on his travels in Giyu Tomioka's Story after her father Matazo transforms into a demon.
The Wind Hashira has one of the saddest backstories in Demon Slayer. His mother had turned into a demon and had killed five of his siblings. He was forced to kill his own mother in an attempt to save his only remaining brother, Genya.
Obanai Iguro is one of the harsher Hashira members. He demanded that Giyuu be punished for allowing Nezuko to get away unharmed, and later restrained Tanjiro as he tried to help his sister. He hates demons and has little regard for his fellow Hashira, except Mitsuri Kanroji later on.
With her jovial and concerned attributes, as well as her “Moshi Mosh,” It is no wonder that Shinobu is the most liked Hashira in Demon Slayer.
Giyu Tomioka (冨岡 義勇, Tomioka Giyū) is a major supporting character in the popular anime/manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a member of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Water Hashira who is also the one who enlisted Tanjiro Kamado into a Demon Slayer.
Abilities. Hashira-Level Swordsman: As one of the Hashira, Shinobu is one of the Demon Slayer Corps strongest swords-women. She is the only one of them who does not slay demons by beheading them, instead, she injects a deadly poison into her foes using her blade.
Muichiro is the Mist Hashira, and therefore utilizes Mist Breathing. This form stems from Wind Breathing, a Breathing Style currently used by Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira. Mist is created and controlled by the user to replicate the cloudy nature of mist.
Shizuka is seen often teasing Sanemi and making him annoyed, nevertheless, the two had still created a strong bond and relationship with each other. Eventually, after knowing each other for a while, Shizuka finally ended up having the courage and confessed, leading to them getting married after awhile.

Then Shinjiro's wife died, and Shinjuro became bitter and jaded about himself and the entire demon slayer corps.
He mocked the other styles as "cheap imitations" of Sun Breathing and accused Tanjiro of coming to their residence to mock them for his superiority, after recognising his Hanafuda earrings.
