In the past, J.K. Rowling has said, 'In many, many ways, Hufflepuff is my favourite house. '
Even J.K. Rowling says that Hufflepuff is her favorite House. It's produced the fewest Dark wizards of all four Houses.
As revealed by Chandler Wood, Community Manager at Avalanche Software, Slytherin is the most popular house in Hogwarts Legacy with 6,751,000 users. Gryffindor is in second place with 6,088,000 players, followed by Hufflepuff at 5,115,000.
It's pretty obvious: J.K. Rowling is a Slytherin. According to the Harry Potter Wiki, a Slytherin is known to embody the following characteristics: ambition, shrewdness, cunning, strong leadership, and achievement-orientedness. "They also have highly developed senses of self-preservation.
The two-storey detached house boasts discreet landscaping, a summer house and an office building in the garden which Rowling revealed was her favourite place to write. She was uneasy with her growing celebrity, however, and installed security fences and reinforced doors to protect her privacy.

Hufflepuff is my favorite house in some ways. There comes a point in the book where each house has a chance to rise up to a certain challenge. The Slytherins decided they'd rather not play, the Ravenclaws – some play, some won't, but the Hufflepuffs stay to fight.
Gryffindor: Harry Styles
"He has got a lovely, lovely character. It's a gift."
Harry Potter came very close to being sorted into Slytherin before he persuaded the Hat to sort him into Gryffindor. Yet the spectre of Slytherin haunted him for some time afterwards, becoming particularly potent in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, when he was rumoured to be the heir of Slytherin.
And, naturally, J.K. Rowling herself is a Gryffindor.
"I went through the sorting. I had a moment… I thought, 'Hey, I'm not sure if I answered the questions, I answered honestly, to get me into Gryffindor. ' But yes, I am in Gryffindor."
Although there are strengths to every house, Hufflepuff house in particular often comes up short. While the other houses seem cool and invite a certain allure, Hufflepuff is a little different. Often considered the least desirable of all the sorting options, here are some reasons why Hufflepuff house is the worst.
As the sorting hat's song in The Order of the Phoenix explained, Hufflepuff believes in “teach[ing] the lot and treat[ing] them just the same.” A Hufflepuff's patience, kindness and reliability make them excellent people. They're the Cedric Diggorys of this world, humble to a fault, and loyal to a tee.
Gryffindor. Gryffindor house is where you would find the pluckiest and most daring students (there's a reason the house symbol is the brave lion). The house colours are scarlet and gold, the common room lies up in Gryffindor Tower and the Head of House is Professor Minerva McGonagall.
J.K. Rowling also branded Ravenclaws as “the most individual” (take that other houses!). Along with this, Ravenclaws are eccentric and creative. Perhaps the most recognizable Ravenclaw in the Harry Potter series, Luna Lovegood is certainly eccentric.
Gryffindor. Known for its bravery and daring nature, you might find Gryffindor cool if you value honor and valor above all else. Not only that, but it is also the House of the star cast of the Harry Potter books & films: Harry Potter himself, Ron and Hermoine.
Taylor Swift – Gryffindor.
If Harry had been placed in Slytherin, it would have altered his path drastically. It's doubtful, for example, that he would have developed such a strong friendship with Ron and Hermione. Although that's not to say that he would have got on with Draco Malfoy, either. He was, after all, the worst.
In fact, the Sorting Hat took "four minutes to sort her into one or the other – nearly resulting in a 'Hatstall', which is when the Sorting Hat takes more than five minutes to sort a student." However, it was very much obvious that Hermione preferred Gryffindor, which is clearly seen in the film when she sighs in ...
Being a Gryffindor in a family full of Slytherins wouldn't be easy and Malfoy would have been conflicted. At home, his head would have been filled with anti-Muggle sentiments, fed to him by his parents. In the Gryffindor common room, those same ideas would be considered repulsive by many.
Draco Lucius Malfoy is a fictional character in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. He is a student in Harry Potter's year belonging in the Slytherin house. He is frequently accompanied by his two cronies, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, who act as henchmen.
Worst: Lucius Malfoy
Lucius Malfoy is pretty clearly a bad person, but he's a perfect example of how banal cruelty and evilness can be. Lucius likes to control, humiliate, and cause people pain, but he's also too weak and self-absorbed to really become one of the evil "greats," so to speak.
1. Voldemort. Tom Riddle took the core qualities of Slytherin to new heights, as he became arguably the most powerful dark wizard of all time. He learned how to split his soul and create numerous Horcruxes, thereby making himself immortal as long as the Horcruxes existed.
“Since everyone asks, yes, Dua Lipa is my real name, and you can probably guess where I went to school based on my accent,” she continued. “Hogwarts. House Gryffindor, obviously.” She also showed off some of her 17 tattoos — including a huge fake one on her back depicting the face of Kimmel's sidekick, Guillermo.
Daniel Radcliffe has never confirmed whether or not he's taken the sorting quiz but has said that, as far as he's concerned, he's a Gryffindor like Harry. “I absolutely think I would be in Gryffindor!” Radcliffe wrote in a Reddit AMA.
Like his titular character Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe is in Gryffindor.
