If Voldemort had chosen Neville, then he would not have survived Voldemort's murder attempt on him as a child. Snape would not have asked for him to protect anyone as he did not care for the Longbottoms, as Snape did for Lily due to love, this may have meant he never became a double agent too.
Rowling now says she should have paired Hermoine Granger with Harry Potter, instead of his bud Ron Weasley. Ron and Hermione would have needed relationship counseling.
Hermione Lacked Some of Ravenclaw's Ideals
One example is creativity. For Ravenclaws, finding creative out of scenarios was second nature to them, but Hermione relied on procedures and rules to guide her when she was lost. She also has a drive to be the best, which Ravenclaws aren't known for.
Rowling said, “I wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment. That's how it was conceived, really. For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron.
Though Hermione and Ron do end up together at the end of the HP Saga, the acclaimed author has said in several interviews that she considered having Hermione and Draco end up together in the end. Rowling even suggested that Draco bullying Hermione was like adolescent hair pulling on the playground.
J.K. Rowling also branded Ravenclaws as “the most individual” (take that other houses!). Along with this, Ravenclaws are eccentric and creative. Perhaps the most recognizable Ravenclaw in the Harry Potter series, Luna Lovegood is certainly eccentric.
Her real parents were Daneel and Dean Novak, Pureblooded wizards. Turns out Daneel was Tom Riddles younger sister, Daneel Riddle. Of course, the Riddles were related to Salzar Slytherin himself, and this made Hermione the living heir of Slytherin.
He actually asked the Sorting Hat to place him in Hufflepuff, as he was intimidated by Gryffindor's reputation for bravery, but the Sorting Hat didn't agree. They debated it for so long, that he was close to being what is known as a Hatstall, which is a term for any student whose Sorting takes longer than five minutes.
Though Harry encountered many opportunities that deemed Avada Kedavra necessary, it remains as one of the Unforgivable Curses Harry Potter never cast. For one, he viewed the spell as an immoral practice commonly used by users of the Dark Arts.
Ron and Hermione's first kiss is an iconic moment in the Harry Potter movies, but its depiction in the books is far superior. One of the most memorable first kisses in movie history belongs to Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley of the Harry Potter series.
From even the earlier films, we all knew Hermione Granger was meant for Ron Weasley. But before their ultimate expression of love in the final film, Hermione went to the Yule Ball with one of the Triwizard Tournament's champions, Viktor Krum (Stanislav Ianevski), in Goblet of Fire.
Voldemort intentionally made six Horcruxes, but when he used Avada Kedavra on Harry, he unintentionally created a seventh Horcrux. Instead of dying, Lily's love for Harry created a counter 'curse' known as Sacrificial Protection and saved Harry.
In the end, both were essential to Voldemort's downfall, fulfilling the possibility that both Harry and Neville were, in fact, the Chosen One. While Harry delivered the final blow to destroy Voldemort, Neville destroyed the final Horcrux which allowed Harry to end Voldemort.

In the Chamber itself, we see a large statue of a wizard, which Harry presumes is Salazar Slytherin. We also meet Tom Riddle, who is, as it turns out, the heir of Slytherin.
He is proud
Pride is a key Slytherin trait, and arguably Albus has it in cauldrons. Sometimes this is to his advantage, like when he takes pride in having a friend like Scorpius Malfoy, who is funny and clever and kind, no matter what the rumours say about him and his parentage.
Slytherins in love
Look at Lucius and Narcissa – a total power couple. After a fellow Slytherin, the next best match for this shrewd house would probably be Ravenclaw. A Slytherin could use Ravenclaw's intellectual and inquisitive nature to their advantage, plan their world domination in minute detail.
Severus was Sorted into Ravenclaw, thankfully avoiding being sorted into Slytherin, as that would put a strain on his relationship with his best friend and true love, Lily Evans. While attending Hogwarts, it was noticed since his first day that the boy was a prodigy.
In the books, Ravenclaw has two characteristic colors: blue and bronze. Yet the films changed the colors to blue and silver even though it has zero impact on the story of the movies. The most plausible explanation is they changed the colors because silver looks better than bronze.
Answer 1: In the actual books and movies, Draco never actually had a crush on Hermione. He actually thought she was disgusting because of her being a muggle born. Draco was born into a family that believed in pureblood supremacy.

Before realising that Rita Skeeter and her quill were about as reliable as Peter Pettigrew acting as a Secret Keeper, Mrs Weasley was a fan of her articles, and was outraged on Harry's behalf when she read an article that accused Hermione of playing the field between Harry and Viktor Krum.
