Scrabble rule: You can play words without vowels—even seven-letter ones. As the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary does not consider Y a vowel, the following two-letter vowel-less words are legal: by, hm, mm, my, sh.
At the end of the game when nobody can make a move or someone goes out of tiles, each player subtracts the amount of points that remain unused on their rack from their total score. If someone goes out of tiles, then the total of points on all other players' racks is added to their score as well.
If you're playing in North America, the only words you can spell without consonants are AA, AE, AI, OE, OI and EAU. Outside of North American, there's way more: AA, AE, AI, EA, EE, IO, OE, OI, OO, OU, AIA, AUA, AUE, EAU, EUOI and EUOUAE.
Almost every 5-letter word with no vowels in English contains at least one Y. In fact, there are only five words on this list without a Y. Crwth and cwtch are Welsh words that English has adopted. Grrrl and grrls are slang words, and phpht is a commonly accepted onomatopoeic word.
Unlike consonants, every word needs at least one vowel. There are a small number of exceptions, which we explain below, but in general, this is the rule. In fact, the shortest words in the English language are one letter, and they're both vowels: the article a and the pronoun I.
What are the words without vowels? The words without vowels are why, hmm, hymn, xlnt, wynd, myths, thy, dry, cyst, etc.
All letters that are not vowels are called consonants.
EUNOIA is the shortest word in English which has all five vowels.
Education, nefarious and euphoria each have all five vowels, but they're not the most interesting examples. There's something entertaining about playing with words.
All words labeled as a part of speech (including those listed of foreign origin, and as archaic, obsolete, colloquial, slang, etc.) are permitted with the exception of the following: words always capitalized, abbreviations, prefixes and suffixes standing alone, words requiring a hyphen or an apostrophe.
If you play seven tiles on a turn, it's called a Bingo. You score an additional 50 points after otherwise totaling your score for the turn.
Out of the 100 tiles in Scrabble, 42 are vowels, 56 are consonants, and 2 are blanks. So there are slightly more total consonants than total vowels.
Though it's annoying that you cannot play such a clever word as IQ in Scrabble, there are plenty of uses for that pair of letters.

ZA is the most played word containing the letter Z (and the only playable two-letter word with the letter Z) in tournament SCRABBLE play.
“Qi” is a viable Scrabble word and it is the only two-letter word you can play with Q in Scrabble or Words With Friends. Played on its own (and not accounting for bonus squares or other words you form), the word "qi" is worth 11 points in Scrabble.
5-Letter Words With All Vowels
Unfortunately, you're out of luck. The English language doesn't have any five-letter words that contain all vowels.
In writing systems based on the Latin alphabet, the letters A, E, I, O, U, Y, W and sometimes others can all be used to represent vowels. However, not all of these letters represent the vowels in all languages that use this writing, or even consistently within one language.

Scrabble Words With No Vowels That Use "Y"
Try using short-lettered words like "By," "Cry," and "Dry." If that doesn't do the trick, consider longer words like "Glyph," "Psych," and "Rhythm."
Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. In most English dictionaries, the word pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest one you are going to find at a whopping 45 letters long. This word refers to a lung disease caused by silica dust.
What Words Start With 'Y' and Have No Vowels? None. There aren't any words which begin with a 'Y', and then don't have any other vowels in them.
